Yet another corrupt Umno scumbag Isa Samad jailed and fined!
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 10, 2026: The Apex court today restored former Umno strongman, minister and Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Isa Samad’s six years jail term and RM15 million fine for corruption.
This is Umno and their top leader’s demi rakyat dan negara (for people and country) for you - stealing from the rakyat dan negara.
Honest and sane Malaysians who wish their country to progress socio-economically must rid the racial and religious bigoted Umno from Parliament and Government in the next general election (GE16) to save Malaysia.
Umno supports corruption. Period.
Corrupt Umno leaders are “plentiful” and now it has another corrupt leader to lobby to be freed!
Umno is still lobbying for its No. 1 corrupt, disgraced and shameless former Umno president and prime minister Najib “1MDB” Razak - a common thief/pencuri who is now serving his jail sentence in Kajang Prison.

In Kajang Prison where he belongs!
And look (below) at how the Umno-owned New Straits Times news spin on the case titled Tears in court as Isa Samad sent to Sungai Buloh Prison for six years. Tears and sympathy for a thief/pencuri?

Apex court restores Isa’s 6-year jail term, RM15mil fine
A three-member bench allows the prosecution's appeal and revives the High Court’s verdict.
The High Court in 2021 found ex-Felda chairman Isa Samad guilty of nine corruption charges linked to the purchase of a Kuching hotel.
PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has restored the conviction and sentence imposed on former Felda chairman Isa Samad for receiving about RM3 million in kickbacks in connection with the purchase of a hotel in Kuching 12 years ago.
Justice Nordin Hassan, who led a three-member bench, said the Court of Appeal had committed an appealable error that warranted intervention by the apex court.
As such, he said the prosecution’s appeal to set aside the acquittal was allowed.
The other judges who heard the appeal were Justices Lee Swee Seng and Ruzima Ghazali.
In 2021, the High Court found Isa guilty of nine corruption charges involving RM3.09 million. He was sentenced to six years in prison and fined RM15.4 million.
Two years ago, a Court of Appeal bench led by Justice Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera, who is now a Federal Court judge, unanimously allowed Isa’s appeal, quashing the conviction and sentence, and giving rise to the present appeal.

PUTRAJAYA: An emotional scene unfolded at the Federal Court today as former minister Tan Sri Isa Samad was taken away by police moments after being ordered to serve a six-year jail term for corruption.
His family members, who were seated directly behind him in the public gallery, could not hold back their tears when judge Datuk Nordin Hassan reinstated Isa's six-year jail term and a fine of RM15.45 million.
The sentence stemmed from nine corruption charges involving RM3 million linked to Felda Investment Corporation's acquisition of the Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites (MPHS) in Kuching, Sarawak.

His wife Bibi Sharliza Mohd Khalid was seen crying as other family members attempted to comfort her, while several others were also seen embracing one another.
Isa, who remained calm as the judge took more than an hour to deliver his judgment, was immediately taken away by police to the holding room at the end of the hearing.
His family members then left the courtroom and headed towards the lock-up area to meet him.
Isa will serve his jail term at the Sungai Buloh Prison.
Earlier, the top court said the Court of Appeal had erred in overturning the High Court's conviction, finding that the trial judge's decision was supported by evidence and in accordance with the law.
A three-panel bench chaired by Datuk Nordin Hassan said the prosecution had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Isa had received bribes as a reward for assisting in the approval of the hotel purchase, adding that the statutory presumption under anti-corruption laws had not been rebutted.
Describing corruption as a "heinous act that would destroy a nation", Nordin said the sentence imposed by the High Court was appropriate, proportionate and served as a deterrent.
Other members of the bench were Datuk Lee Swee Seng and Datuk Che Mohd Ruzima Ghazali.
On Dec 14, 2018, Isa, 76, was charged with one count of criminal breach of trust and nine counts of receiving gratification involving more than RM3 million.
The charges related to his approval of a proposal for Felda Investment Corporation Sdn Bhd (FICSB) to purchase a hotel in Kuching.
The offences were committed on the 49th floor of Menara Felda, Persiaran KLCC, between July 21, 2014, and Dec 11, 2015.
He was charged under Section 16(a)(A) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years' imprisonment and a fine of not less than five times the bribe amount or RM10,000, whichever is higher, upon conviction.
On March 6, 2024, the Court of Appeal acquitted and discharged Isa of all charges after allowing his appeal.
