KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23, 2024: Does disgraced and shameless for prime minister Najib Abdul Razak deseres to be pardoned?

Najib is now languishing in prison serving a 12-year jail sentence for his role in the multi-billion-ringgit theft in 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), a so-called Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF).

The jailbird has submitted to the Pardon’s Board for clemency and freedom. The board’s hearing is reported to be soon.

No News Is Bad News has posted many articles on Najib and 1MDB and many others have also written about it.

In this posting, we are not going to write about it anymore.

We reproduce above a YouTube clip, uploaded on May 8, 2023 which has registered 115,468 views and 212 comments to date.

The video’s description is this:

No News Is Bad News is leaving it to readers to view the video and conclude for themselves whether Najib deserves to be pardoned for his mismanagement resulting in the costly theft for the rakyat dan negara (people and country).

Malaysia’s current national debt is about RM1.5 trillion.

Our stand is jailbird Najib does not deserve our sympathy nor be pardoned.

Perhaps, sympathy may be due if he shows remorse and help the Government recover as much of the loot as possible.
