Enough talk of fighting graft, there’s no integrity
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3, 2024: Facebook is today flooded with many corruption-thieving-related images, without doubt displaying the disgust of law-abiding and harmonious-loving Malaysians.
The above image is no doubt the most glaring depiction of the discriminated justice in Malaysia.
A man who steals RM22 gets jailed 10 years but another who steals RM42 million from the federal coffer (1Malaysia Development Berhad) gets his 12-year jail sentenced slashed to only six years.
Enough of writing on corruption as the authorities seem to not care what the rakyat (people) thinks of the way it is handling corruption and thieving in Malaysia.
No News Is Bad News reproduces below selected images found shared in social media, reflecting the rakyat (people)'s disgust. They are each worth a thousand words, so says the cliche:
I hereby pardon you. Go forth and steal no more (billions). Steal trillions instead.
Mala Kah
Many long serving convicts will now request for a 50% sentence discount as a precedent has been set.
Well, there must not be disparities within the criminal justice system. Equality and fairness must be given to all prisoners in the granting of pardons, NOT only to well connected, VVIPs who stole billions from the rakyat.
