Is supporting a theif and world’s biggest kleptocrat a universal value? For image info, go to https://www.bernama.com/en/general/news.php?id=2252895
Yes, Anwar needs more time but not time to add more governance woes
KUALA LUMPUR, Fb 6, 2024: Yes, Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister (PMX) Anwar Ibrahim needs more time to undo some six decades of the corrupt Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) governments.
But that does not include adding more shit to the system of governance - like supporting to free the world's biggest kleptocrat, the disgraced and shameless former prime minister Najib “1MDB” Razak.
Where is the logic or justification to free a man who contributed significantly to the current national debt of some RM1.5 trillion.
The jailbird Najib was given a 50% discount in his jail sentence - from 12 years to six years and a hefty cut to a court fine of RM210 million to RM50 million.
And to date, he has shown zero remorse on his role of mismanaging 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), a so called Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) for the country, causing it to lose billions of Ringgit.
Does that sound like a a man who deserves to be pardoned or even be given a partial pardon?
So, Najib gets freed earlier and also gets to keep his ill-gotten gains?
Is this good federal governance? Is this the right message in the fight against graft or corruption?
No News Is Bad News reproduces below a posting on Facebook on what was described as a very interesting story:
Very interesting story that makes sense in today's New Malaysia political scenario
The many magical expectations from the public and even highly famous personalities who are speaking against PMX.
Probably, they need an extra 'sense' to keep PMX alive
Please read below to understand the shit he is in.
It takes time. And time is only possible when he is still the PM and in the Federal Government.
Otherwise, if PMX is out, the scenario will be the same as the previous governments or worst to come.
So which one do you want or choose ??
Give PMX 2 terms in office. Cast your votes again after 2 terms if the country is not being directed correctly or the alignment is still out.
We have lost 65 years already from independence so what is 2-term of 10 years for PMX in the Government
Let's analyse the below-mentioned layman's story

A LAYMAN'S STORY
In a neighbourhood a drain was getting choked so a Sweeper was called to clean the drain.
Public asked Sweeper, How much time will you take to clean the drain?
Sweeper said 5 hours. Public agreed and asked the Sweeper to do it.
Sweeper went inside drain duct & started cleaning. When 5 hours were about to complete, Public from outside the drain asked, Is it about to complete?
Sweeper said, No. I have not even been able to do half as yet.
So the argument started between Public and Sweeper.
Sweeper then asked Public, Since when this drain was not cleaned?
Public answered, 60 years & no idea when it was last cleaned.
Sweeper then told Public - You allowed the drain to get choked for 60 years & did not bother to clean & now when I am cleaning it you are asking me WHY I am slower than what I promised to do. I came to know how much muck there is in drain only AFTER I came inside the drain. It is more than what I anticipated when I was outside!
So what you want now? Sweeper to continue cleaning the drain or come out & let drain get choked AGAIN by same people who clogged it in the past.
You can blame the Sweeper to be SLOW (compared to what?),
You can blame Sweeper for poor anticipation of muck inside but can you blame him for the muck that has deposited over decades or for not doing his job?
*The worst will be if you ask the Sweeper to come out & then LET THE DRAIN GET CHOKED AGAIN*
MESSAGE IS LOUD N CLEAR.....Do you get the message
