Sack the kurang ajar MBPP Level 3 Komtar counter staff

KUALA LUMPUR, May 31, 2024: Mr Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow! The following kurang ajar (very rude) treatment by Penang Island City Council (MBPP) happened just under nose!

To be exact, 25-storeys down your comfy office in Komtar. Or are you and your Datuk Bandar (mayor) still snoring and sleeping away?

Take action immediately before MBPP’s counter services become a real shit hole!

No News Is Bad News reproduces below what an islander related in social media the disgusting lazy and kurang ajar counter staff:

ILL TREATED / NO RESPECT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AT MBPP COUNTER KOMTAR LEVEL 3!!!!

 

NOT TO DENY - the cashless transaction initiative, which is among Penang Island City Council’s (MBPP) smart initiatives has proven good response from the public. It shows that public have started to embrace the changes positively. But what about senior citizens and illeterates whom are unable to operate the cashless machine!

Acording to MBPP, they are still providing services through face to face counters, catering specifically to the needs of the senior citizens, the disabled and those who do not own a smart phone. 

But this is NOT true! Datuk Bandar MBPP please wake up! Your MBPP counter staffs are shaking legs and not doing their job – makan gaji buta! They lack discipline and respect for senior citizens. These bunch of goons must be terminated and replaced with good hard working souls. 

On 23/5/2024, the clerks at the counter refused to accept our cash payment. They informed MBPP have stopped all cash payment at counter. Senior citizens have to manage the machine on our own – MBPP will not provide any staff to assist senior citizens, disable group and those who do not own a smart phone. Those who find it difficult should bring their children /grandchildren to assist them!!!!

The three (3) of us are senior citizens. At the machine area there were another six (6) senior citizens blinking not knowing how to operate the machine. There was no one to help us. Some left with anger. 

 I went to the counter again with the Indian lady and the Chinese man. I asked Norshila – the witch who was making a lot of noise and making fun of the senior citezens at the counter.

Norshila made fun of us in public calling us “bodoh”! Tak baca sekolah ka! Budak Tadika pun pandai guna mesin ATM. Sampai bila mau harapkan kerani2 MBPP tolong warga emas semua. Belajar lah sendiri! Bukan kerja kita orang tolong u all semua!!!!! 

The Indian lady kept begging to Norshila to help but she kept forcing her to manage on her own. The Indian lady begged to an Indian lady and an Indian man at the same counter to help - they refused to help - laughed at each other- making fun of the Indian senior citizen!!!!.

 

The Chinese man kept begging to all the staffs . He said - he cannot speak Malay – cant read / write – needs help. None have any respect for senior citizens. They made fun of us and kept laughing. This makes me blow off my mind!!!! 

I screamed at them – calling them kurang ajar! I scolded the Supervisor that he is not fit for the Supervisor post and yelled at him to resign. I screamed at all the counter clerks that they should be ashamed of themselves for behaving so cheap. I asked how they would feel if their parents are  ill treated the way they ill treated and make fun of us!!!. I cursed  they will suffer worst karma when they grow old!.

I challenged the supervisor to bring the witch (Norshila) to apologise to all of us which the witch and the Supervisor adhered. I forced the witch to do her duty and finally we all managed to settle our bills. I took the Indian lady to police station and lodge a report against the witch and the supervisor. The police said will raise the isu to Datuk Bandar Pulau Pinang for further action.
