CONTROVERSIAL rapper Wee Meng Chee, better known as Namewee, has turned himself in at a police station in the city to assist investigations into the death of Taiwanese influencer, Hsieh Yu-hsih.

He reported the development himself who with a selfie in front of a police station after arriving there and uploaded the post via Instagram Story.

Namewee also shared a post saying that he would provide full cooperation to the police, answering the questions of the public and Hsieh's family.

"I just arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Johor Bahru. Before that, I had arranged a time to meet the police to report myself and appear at the station," he said.

Police had been tracking Wee after naming him a person of interest in the death of Hsieh.

The 42-year-old had allegedly gone into hiding after Hsieh's death was reclassified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

"I will fully cooperate with the police investigation to provide answers to the public and the family of the deceased.

"I will not run away. There were seven arrest warrants issued for me, and each time I voluntarily went to the police. I have never run away," he said in the post.

Yesterday, Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Fadil Marsus said the investigation into Hsieh's death had been reclassified as a murder case under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Fadil said Hsieh arrived in Malaysia on Oct 20 for a planned four-day trip. The influencer was found dead two days later.

On Oct 24, Namewee was charged in court on two drug-related charges.

Meanwhile, the Chinese media reported that Namewee arrived in a car at the Dang Wangi Police Headquarters at about 1.10am.

After taking a selfie video outside, he entered the police station area to meet with the investigating officer.- November 5, 2025

PETALING JAYA: Controversial singer Wee Meng Chee, better known as Namewee, surrendered himself to the police early this morning, saying he would never flee the law as authorities begin probing a murder case linked to him.

Wee said he had travelled to Kuala Lumpur from Johor after being summoned by the police.

He also vowed to cooperate with the investigation.

“I’m now at the police station and will cooperate with the police’s investigation to the best of my ability, in order to provide answers to the public and the deceased’s family.

“I will not flee. I have shown up to the police station voluntarily on all past seven arrest warrants, and never did I try to escape,” he said in a social media post.

Police said yesterday that they had been unable to locate Wee following the death of Taiwanese social media influencer Hsieh Yu-hsin.

Hsieh reportedly met with Wee at the hotel in the capital to discuss filming a video together. He was said to have found her dead in a bathtub.

Wee was nabbed by the police on Oct 22 at the hotel, where authorities discovered nine blue pills suspected to be ecstasy in the room. He later tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine, ketamine and THC.

He was charged with drug possession and consumption but pleaded not guilty. The court allowed him to post bail of RM4,000 for each charge.

Yesterday, Kuala Lumpur police reclassified Hsieh’s death as murder. It was initially classified as sudden death.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5, 2025: The suspected murder of 31-year-old Taiwanese influencer Hsieh Yu-hsin, better known as Iris Hsieh or the “Nurse Goddess” for her sultry nursing-themed content that topped Taiwan’s OnlyFans charts, here on Oct 22 is exposing deadly juicy reading materials.

And it is linked to controversial Malaysian rapper and provocateur Namewee (real name Wee Meng Chee).

Namewee: From OnlyFans Models to Adult Actresses and Influencers – Who’s Next?

4 November, 2025

In the glittering underbelly of cross-border “collaborations,” where music videos and social media shoots blur the lines between art and excess, Malaysian rapper and provocateur Namewee (real name Wee Meng Chee) has long thrived on controversy. But as the Kuala Lumpur police reclassify the death of Taiwanese influencer Iris Hsieh as murder, a chilling pattern emerges from the shadows. What began as whispers of delayed ambulances and drug denials has snowballed into a cascade of regretful confessions from women in his orbit – from OnlyFans sirens to adult film stars and Instagram queens. As netizens crowdsource the next name on his alleged hit list, one question hangs heavy:

It was supposed to be just another high-stakes collab in the City of Lights – or at least, Kuala Lumpur’s neon glow. On October 22, 2025, 31-year-old Taiwanese influencer Hsieh Yu-hsin, better known as Iris Hsieh or the “Nurse Goddess” for her sultry nursing-themed content that topped Taiwan’s OnlyFans charts, was found unresponsive in a Jalan Conlay hotel bathtub. She had jetted in for a video shoot with Namewee, the 42-year-old firebrand behind viral anthems like his infamous 2007 national anthem parody. What unfolded instead was a nightmare scripted in headlines.

By November 4, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus dropped the bomb: The case is now murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, with Namewee facing imminent detention for questioning. He denies involvement, insisting in an Instagram post that “unsubstantiated reports” are blackmail fodder and that the full truth awaits police reports in two to three months. Chris, Iris’s handler, fired back: “What are you hiding?” He slammed discrepancies between Namewee’s narrative and police logs, vowing full cooperation and decrying the “shocking” lack of transparency. No drugs for Iris, he insists – but the autopsy’s still pending, and suspicions of sexual activity linger like a bad remix.

Iris wasn’t just a victim; she was a top 0.05% OnlyFans earner, blending her nursing background with provocative posts that amassed a fervent following. Her death has ignited a firestorm in Taiwan, where media frenzy meets public outrage over a Malaysian “genius” turned suspect.

The Echoes of Regret: Vivian Hsieh’s Public Shade

Enter Vivian Hsieh, the Canadian-Taiwanese influencer whose past gigs with Namewee now taste like ashes. A friend of Iris, Vivian broke her silence on Instagram Stories, firing off a salvo that read like a breakup text from hell: “I’m ashamed to have worked with you.” On October 27, as Iris missed her scheduled flight back to Taiwan and went radio silent, Vivian DM’d Namewee: “What happened to Iris?” Crickets. “You played dead and didn’t respond,” she seethed. “All these years, I thought you were a good person, but I was wrong.”

Vivian’s no stranger to Namewee’s world – their 2019 “Ain’t A Cigarette” video collab was all sultry vibes and shared screens. Now, it’s exhibit A in a gallery of ghosted “partnerships.” Her post, laced with betrayal, has gone viral, amplifying calls for accountability. “Not being forthcoming,” she accused, echoing the unease rippling through influencer circles. If Vivian’s the canary in the coal mine, her song is a siren: Trust no “project” invite from the man with the mic.

The Doll in the Drawer: Princess Dolly’s Cryptic Confession

Hot on Vivian’s heels came Princess Dolly, the Taiwanese adult film actress whose Threads post on November 3 read like a plot twist from a noir thriller. Invited to Malaysia in March 2025 for what she thought was a “mysterious” adventure, Dolly spilled: “I’m just one of your toys.” No names dropped, but the timing – post-Iris headlines – screamed subtext. She detailed a trip laced with flattery, “surprises,” and illegal substances “provided” on-site, insisting she smuggled nothing across borders. “I admired the inviter,” she clarified in a six-point manifesto, “but deception? Unacceptable.”

Online sleuths connected the dots to Namewee faster than a diss track drops. Reddit’s r/malaysia lit up with threads dissecting her “our-little-secret” tryst, speculating on a Rolodex of “toys” peddled party favors and false promises. Dolly’s not alone; anonymous posts hint at a pattern – invites that start with beats and end in blackouts, with women emerging as “disposable playthings.” Her story, veiled yet venomous, paints Namewee as a collector of conquests, where admiration masks manipulation.

The Bigger Picture: A Pattern of “Collaborations” Gone Wrong?

Namewee’s discography is a rap sheet of rebellion – from sedition probes to satirical stabs at authority. But peel back the beats, and 2025’s scandals reveal a darker groove: Allegations of using “video projects” as bait for women in the sex-adjacent spotlight. Iris (OnlyFans elite), Dolly (adult cinema vet), Vivian (influencer ally) – it’s a trifecta spanning platforms and professions, united by regret and a shared Malaysian postcode.

Netizens are in full detective mode, crowdsourcing on X and Reddit: “From Iris to Dolly to Vivian – who’s the next ‘co-star’?” Whispers point to backup dancers from his 2022 tour, unnamed models from IG archives, and even a “mysterious Malaysia jaunt” teased by other Taiwanese talents. With police raiding deeper and blackmail claims flying both ways, the floodgates are open. Chris vows affidavits; Dolly hints at a “pattern extended to other women.” By Black Friday, expect 5-7 more mic drops, each messier than the last.

Namewee, charged under the Dangerous Drugs Act and bailed pending a December 18 mention, pleads innocence: “I haven’t used drugs… At most, I’ve been drinking more lately.” But as the #NameweeExposé trends, his denials drown in a sea of screenshots and sobs. Is this the end of the Fragile tour, or just intermission?

Is this the end of the Fragile tour, or just intermission?

In an industry where “work” winks at the wicked, Iris’s death isn’t just a tragedy – it’s a tipping point. For the women left holding the script, it’s time to rewrite the ending. Who’s next? The chorus is growing; the spotlight’s unforgiving. Stay tuned – or better yet, stay safe.

“I’m Just One Of Your Toys” – Taiwan Adult Film Star Alleges She Was Lured to Malaysia and Introduced to Substances

4 November, 2025

“You said this was our little secret. You convinced me to try those substances. You said I was the most special, but it was all a lie.”

“After (the first day), I was taken on a mysterious journey. You said you only treated me this way. You said this was our little secret. You persuaded me to try those things,”

“But after seeing the news, I broke down. It turns out I was just one of many girls who haven’t died yet,” she said.

“I never imagined myself as that person’s partner because I do not have that qualification. But what I cannot accept is deception.

Following the news that the death of influencer Iris is now being investigated as a murder case, Taiwanese adult film star Princess Dolly has posted cryptic yet serious allegations on social media, sparking online speculation about a possible connection.

In a viral Threads post on November 3, Princess Dolly claimed an unnamed man invited her to Malaysia and brought her to a “mysterious place.”

She quoted him as saying, “You convinced me to try those substances,” and assuring her that she was “the most special” and that their encounters were a “little secret.” He justified his behavior by claiming he “loved her soul.”

Dolly’s post was filled with anguish and betrayal. “I was just one of your toys, right?” she wrote, repeating the line for emphasis.

She also revealed she had planned to return to Malaysia this month to see him because he said he missed her, adding bitterly, “But, I’m just one of the women who hasn’t died, right?”

She expressed heartbreak for trusting his words against her better judgment. Importantly, Dolly clarified that the “substances” were provided to her within Malaysia and that she did not bring any prohibited items through the airport.

The allegations come amid a major development in a high-profile case. On the morning of November 4, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) confirmed that the death of Iris—previously classified as sudden death—is now being investigated as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

In a related development, Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marus stated that Namewee, who was present in the hotel room where Iris was found dead, is expected to be detained today.

Taiwanese Influencer & Namewee Spent Night In Hotel Together – 9 Blue Pills Found in Room – Police Classified As Murder

4 November, 2025

The Taiwanese influencer, who died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, reportedly spent the night in the luxury hotel room with Malaysian rapper, Namewee, according to China Press, citing Malaysia police.

The Malaysia Chinese media reported that the authorities confirmed that the deceased had been with Namewee for the night, following investigations.

In response to media queries, the police there said they were unable to confirm if the 31-year-old deceased, Hsieh Yu-hsin, also known as Iris Hsieh, had been discussing work with Namewee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee.

The body was reportedly found in a five-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur at around 1:40pm on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

They will proceed to charge him for drug possession and failing a urine test.

Kuala Lumpur police confirmed on Nov. 3 that Malaysian rapper Namewee was arrested and charged with drug possession and consumption in October.

Wee denied the allegations of drug use and possession in connection with the death of 31-year-old Taiwanese influencer Hsieh Yu-hsin, also known as Iris Hsieh, in an Instagram post on Nov. 2.

Wee said in his post that he is confident that the truth will be known once the police investigation is complete in two to three months.

On the day of his arrest, he was allegedly stopped by Malaysia police who happened to be deployed on that floor of his hotel that day for the Asean Summit, which was taking place a few days later.

About the case

His drug charges came following the death of a Taiwanese influencer at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

It was reported that Wee and Hsieh were working on filming a video together and were discussing matters in the hotel room.

Hsieh then went to the bathroom to take a shower alone, but allegedly did not come out after half an hour, prompting Wee to check on her.

He then found her dead in the bathtub and tried to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but to no avail.

There was apparently no water in the tub or on the floor.

Police found nine blue pills, believed to be ecstasy, in the hotel room, KL police said.

Wee subsequently tested positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine and ketamine, as well as THC.

Influencer’s manager speaks out

Wee is now under further scrutiny as his public statement refuting the allegations were contradicted by the police findings of his drug use.

The artiste, known for his cheeky lyrics and videos, had also denied being involved in Hsieh’s death.

But following Wee’s post, the late influencer’s manager, named Chris, called out the rapper’s denials on Instagram on the same day.

Chris wrote: “Your statements are completely inconsistent with the official police report.”

Chris claimed that a private investigator hired over the past few days had followed up with the Malaysia police about the case, but could not piece together a consistent story.

Manager tells Wee to come clean

Chris added that initial information referred to an accidental “cardiac arrest” as cause of Hsieh’s death, but what he found from the Malaysia police was vastly different.

However, he did not disclose what the exact differences were.

Chris also called Wee out for allegedly telling the police one thing, and saying something else to the public.

Chris claimed that Hsieh was never known to take drugs and pressed Wee to reveal the nature of the packet of substance supplied to the influencer before her death, and if she was induced or deceived to consume it.

The manager also said he has not heard from Hsieh’s family, but he is speaking out as a friend who wants to seek justice on the deceased’s behalf.

Out of respect for the deceased and her family, no public statement has been issued.

Managers do not restrict artiste’s freedom

After commenters questioned why Chris did not accompany Hsieh throughout the process of her engagement with Wee, he explained that the manager’s responsibilities are very diverse.

While ensuring work safety and compliance with contracts, managers also exercise flexibility in their approach to managing artistes who are given freedom to fraternise with whoever they please.

Managers, Chris said, do not interfere in the artiste’s personal lives.

He added that he is not a “leech” and respects the artiste’s autonomy in arranging work and accepting invitations from friends or for private collaborations.

While some projects are not company-led, managers still keep track of schedules and security arrangements, Chris emphasised.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed that the case, initially classified as sudden death, is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

The body of 31-year-old Hsieh Yu-hsin, known online as Iris Hsieh, was discovered in a bathtub at a hotel on Jalan Conlay on 22 October.

From Nursing Graduate To Top-ranked Content Creator

She gained online popularity in 2019 after posting provocative images and later started an OnlyFans account in 2022.

Hsieh claimed to be in the top 0.05 per cent creator tier on the platform and ranked number one in Taiwan.

Her death while working with Namewee has been widely reported by many media outlets in Taiwan, provoking considerable public interest.

PETALING JAYA: Wee Ann Hee, father of Malaysian artist Namewee (real name Wee Meng Chee) and a veteran singing competition judge, has said authorities will handle all matters related to the death of Taiwanese influencer Hsieh Yu-hsin, who was found dead last month.

According to Sin Chew Daily, Wee Ann Hee said the case is now under judicial investigation and the family would not be making further comments.

He added that Namewee had not returned to Muar for two or three months, but both parents visited him in Kuala Lumpur at the end of last month.

Wee Ann Hee told Sin Chew Daily he was unaware of what had happened to his son and emphasised that the family was leaving everything to the police.

However, he confirmed that Namewee had contacted the family and assured them of his safety.

Asked if the situation was putting pressure on Namewee, Wee Ann Hee said it probably was not.

"We haven’t planned to go to KL to visit him, since it wouldn’t make a difference anyway. And sometimes he’s so busy, he keeps his phone off," he said.
