Please resign as DAP secretary-general. It is the first “duck egg” in an election under your arrogant MCA 2.0 ways.

Sabahans wipe out DAP but no Sabah For Sabahans

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29, 2025: The arrogant DAP alias MCA 2.0 lost all eight seats it contested in the 17th Sabah Election yesterday.

DAP candidates all lost to Warisan candidates except for one who was beaten by Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS). All six DAP incumbent assemblymen lost their seats.

DAP secretary-general and Transport Loke Siew Fook was quoted by the media as saying he accepted responsibility for the party’s dismal performance in the polls.

Loke said he respected the decision of voters but pointed out that DAP still had two Sabah representatives in Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin and Sandakan MP Vivian Wong.

Well, the two DAP MPs will most likely, similarly lose their seats in the next general election which is due in 2027, unless the current DAP leadership stop turning themselves into MCA 2.0.

“Accepted responsibility” - so, resign immediately as DAP secretary-general before you and your MCA 2.0 also gets dumped in Penang,Perak  and Selangor.

However, Sabahans failed to deliver what the Sarawakians did for their socio-political well being - Sarawak For Sarawakians - that is Sabah For Sabahans.

At No News Is Bad News' press time, PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh claims that GRS chairman Hajiji Noor has obtained the numbers to form the new Sabah government.

Sabahans have chosen to continue to live at the mercy of the Persekutuan Government.

They have also supported the racial and religious Taliban-like PAS, winning a seat in the 73-seat Sabah Assembly for a historic maiden win. The Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) was the loser!

PETALING JAYA: DAP has conceded defeat in the 17th Sabah Election and has failed to retain any of its previously held seats, says Anthony Loke.

The DAP secretary-general said he took full responsibility for the party's shortcomings.

"DAP Sabah has failed to retain any of the seats it previously held.

"We accept and respect the decision of voters in the eight constituencies contested by DAP," he said in a statement on Saturday (Nov 29) night.

DAP suffered a heavy defeat, with unofficial results showing the party lost all eight seats it contested. The party's biggest setback came in Tanjung Aru, where Sabah DAP deputy chairman Datuk Chan Foong Hin, who is also Deputy Plantation and Commodities Minister, was unseated by Warisan.

Contesting under the Pakatan Harapan banner, DAP was also outperformed in other constituencies, including Sri Tanjong, Kapayan, Elopura, Likas, Luyang and Tanjung Papat.

Loke also congratulated the parties and candidates who were given the mandate by voters in these constituencies. - The Star

KOTA KINABALU: DAP's top guns in Sabah have been wiped out in all eight seats the party contested in the 17th Sabah Election, according to unofficial results.

Sabah DAP chief Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe was defeated by Warisan Tham Yun Fook in a six-cornered fight in Likas.

DAP, which fielded new face Chan Loong Wei in Luyang, was also defeated by Warisan in a five-cornered fight.

In Kapayan, Warisan's Chin Tek Ming defeated DAP's two-term incumbent Jannie Lasimbang.

Sabah DAP secretary and Sandakan MP Vivian Wong was also defeated in the Elopura state seat as she was defeated by Warisan's two-term incumbent Calvin Chong.
