KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23, 2026: Umno president and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was one of many who supported the lie that Najib “1MDB” Razak received the Saudi “donation”.
The corrupt, disgraced and shameless former Umno president and prime minister Najib on Wednesday told the High Court that the RM42 million deposited into his account was not a Saudi donation?
So, where did the funds origin from?
And what have Zahid and all who supported the Umno icon cum thief/pencuri got to say now?
Do they all expect Malaysians to just forget their thieving lies and go on with business as usual without a care for accountability and responsibility?
Are we expected to just forget the liars who hold high office?

Zahid is one of many who support the lie that Najib received the Saudi “donation”.
Ex AG Mohamed Apandi Ali officially cleared Najib of wrongdoing, stating the US$681 million was a personal donation from the Saudi royal family.
In 2020 testimony during the SRC International trial, a senior MACC officer confirmed the authenticity of a donation letter purportedly from a Saudi prince
In 2025 1MDB trial testimony, ex-Minister claimed he was privy to late King Abdullah's promise of personal donations to Najib.
Ex-Malaysian Ambassador to KSA stated he was informed of King Abdullah offering monetary aid/donations to Najib during an informal 2010 meeting.
KJ- the smartest person in UMNO- defended Najib many times, and the craziest, Wan Adnan Wan Mamat (ex-UMNO Kuantan division chief) claimed the RM2.6 billion was from KSA as thanks for fighting ISIS!
The worst was Najib himself- he performed several "sumpah laknat" to affirm his innocence in various corruption cases, particularly related to SRC International funds.
Yet today, there are many in UMNO who say he is innocent, and must get a royal pardon.
No action taken against any person who lied in public about the “donation”. Even using Islam to proclaim their innocence.
You see, in Malaysia, we have feudal politics.
If you are at the top, there are plenty of apple-polishers who will say anything to please you. They will also lie for you, hoping you will remember them and reward them.
The PM’s office is the ultimate office when it comes to patronage. So the number of apple-polishers is endless.
They will use religion to remind all how they cannot tell a lie or commit corruption because it is forbidden in the religion.
Facts tell a different story but most of them are brainwashed when it comes to religion. The moment you invoke religion, they no longer understand logic or have the ability to understand truth.
That is why political Islam can get away with so much hypocrisy in Malaysia. Say one thing, do another, and there are no political consequences.

Now Najib ‘1MDB’ Razak says RM42m not ‘Saudi donation’
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22, 2026: The corrupt, disgraced and shameless former Umno president and prime minister Najib “1MDB’ Razak today tells the High Court that the RM32 million deposited into his personal accounts is not a “Saudi donation”.
This comes after he was on Dec 26 jailed 15 years and fined RM11.387 billion on 25 charges of abuse of power and money laundering involving RM2.27 billion.
The High Court ruled in Najib’s 1MDB criminal trial that there was no documentary evidence to support his “Saudi donation” defence.
So, now Najib claims his change of stance is due to “subsequent knowledge” he acquired (while in Kajang Prison)?
The country and world’s No. 1 kleptocrat/thief/pencuri is now clutching onto straws by abandoning his “Saudi donation” claim.

Former prime minister Najib Razak attributes his change of stance to ‘subsequent knowledge’ he acquired.
SRC International Sdn Bhd and its subsidiary, Gandingan Mentari Sdn Bhd, are suing Najib Razak to recover RM42 million allegedly misappropriated from company funds.
KUALA LUMPUR: Najib Razak told the High Court today that RM42 million deposited into his personal bank accounts was not linked to a purported Saudi donation, based on “subsequent knowledge” he acquired.
The former prime minister made the admission under cross-examination by SRC International’s counsel, Kwan Will Sen, in a civil suit brought by the company and its subsidiary, Gandingan Mentari Sdn Bhd, to recover the sum allegedly misappropriated from company funds.
Kwan: At this very moment, do you still maintain that the RM42 million is from the Saudi donation?
Najib: At that particular time, I thought it was a Saudi donation.
Kwan: The truth in your mind – if I can use those words – at this moment, is that the RM42 million has nothing to do with the Saudi donation?
Najib: Based on subsequent knowledge, yes.
Kwan: So, you agree with my statement?
Najib: Yes.
Earlier, Kwan pressed Najib to acknowledge that his “Saudi donation” defence had been comprehensively rejected by the courts in the criminal proceedings brought against him.
Kwan: This particular defence of the Saudi donation was dismissed by all levels of the courts (in the SRC International corruption case). Is that a correct statement?
Najib: Yes, but I have to clarify because I didn’t have the opportunity to do a full explanation at the Federal Court. That’s why in the review, one of the judges – a senior judge – agreed with our position. During the review, he concluded I didn’t get a fair trial.
Kwan: All said and done, the majority finding upheld the conclusion (that the funds were not a Saudi donation). That is correct, isn’t it?
Najib: Yes. Unfortunately, yes.
Kwan further pointed out that the High Court in Najib’s 1MDB criminal trial had ruled that there was no documentary evidence to support his “Saudi donation” defence.
Kwan: In the 1MDB trial at the High Court – and I know you have appealed against that decision – Justice Collin (Lawrence Sequerah) also made the same finding, didn’t he?
Najib: Yes.
Najib, 72, has been jailed since Aug 23, 2022, following his conviction for misappropriating RM42 million in SRC funds. He was sentenced to 12 years’ jail and fined RM210 million.
On Jan 29, 2024, the Federal Territories Pardons Board halved his jail term to six years, and reduced his fine to RM50 million.
On Dec 26 last year, Sequerah sentenced Najib to 15 years in prison and fined him RM11.387 billion following his conviction in his 1MDB case, with the prison term to follow immediately after he completes his current jail term.
Najib was represented by Farhan Shafee.
The hearing before Justice Raja Ahmad Mohzanuddin Shah Raja Mohzan continues tomorrow.

FORMER Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak testified that he had never met or personally known Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil, the former chief executive officer of SRC International, despite having authorised him to manage two bank accounts in Najib’s name.
Speaking in the civil suit filed by SRC International and its subsidiary Gandingan Mentari Sdn Bhd, Najib explained that the appointment of Nik Faisal in 2011 as an authorised signatory was based on a strong recommendation from his late principal private secretary, Datuk Azlin Alias, and Nik Faisal’s professional qualifications as an accountant.
“Nik Faisal was appointed on the advice of my principal private secretary and due to his professional credentials. I did not know him personally,” Najib told the High Court today during cross-examination by lawyer Kwan Will Sen, representing the company.
Najib stressed that the two Ambank accounts were not intended for personal use but were set up to receive contributions for corporate social responsibility activities.
“The accounts were not personal in the sense that I used them for personal matters. They were in my name, but the purpose was to receive contributions to carry out CSR,” he said.
He conceded, however, that this intention was never documented in writing nor formally communicated to the bank.
“The intention was not stated in writing, but in my own understanding, the funds received were to be channelled to CSR activities,” he added.
The former Pekan member of parliament also said he did not personally draft the letter appointing Nik Faisal as the authorised signatory and had never anticipated that any disputes would arise from the arrangement.
The civil suit, filed in 2021, seeks among other remedies a declaration that Najib is responsible for the receipt of RM42 million, along with claims for damages over allegations of knowing receipt of funds, dishonest assistance, misfeasance in public office, and abuse of power.
During previous proceedings, the court heard that the RM42 million, intended for CSR projects, had been transferred into Najib’s two personal Ambank accounts.
Former Yayasan Rakyat 1Malaysia chief executive officer Ung Su Ling testified that she only learned the accounts belonged to Najib through media reports during the SRC criminal trial and was unaware that the funds originated from SRC when she followed instructions from the late Azlin to facilitate transfers from Ihsan Perdana Sdn Bhd.
The trial before High Court judge Datuk Raja Ahmad Mohzanuddin Shah Raja Mohzan is set to resume tomorrow. - January 21, 2026

There must be a taker and a giver.
Both must be brought to face justice to save the rakyat dan negara (people and country).
The above image found on Facebook depicts a common trait - that the majority of takers are Malays who hold high offices and are multimillionaires!
Yes! There must be givers and they are mostly non-Malays who need to “give” to get contracts. That is certainly no excuse but they are only cari makan (looking for income to survive).
The moral is thus: If there are are no takers, there will be no givers, and if there are no givers, there will be no takers.
Is it then a wonder why the majority of ordinary Malays, especially those in rural areas are still poor after 68 years (since Merdea 1957) of governance under the rich and influential Malays.
That’s what you get from the Umno-led Alliance, then the Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) governments.
Isn’t it amazing and clear why the corrupt Umno is defending and worshipping the corrupt, disgraced and shameless former Umno president and prime minister Najib “1MDB” Razak?
Umno is not demi rakyat dan negara. It is demi rasuah untuk sendiri (corruption for themselves)
Umno wants Najib to be freed (read as house arrest or backdoor freedom) for its political funding from the “dirty money”!

So, what say you Umno, a party that supports the corrupt and corruption?
The shameless racial and religious bigoted Umno continues to lobby for the freeing of the corrupt, disgraced and shameless thief/pencuri, former Umno president and prime minister Najib “1MDB” Razak.
Najib stole millions, if not billions, of Ringgit from the rakyat dan negara (people and country) and mismanaged 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) till the rakyat has to pay interests and debts until 2053!:

KUALA PILAH, Jan 14 — The Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, has voiced deep concern over the growing prevalence of corruption and expressed disappointment at those who continue to support individuals convicted of graft.
Tuanku Muhriz said corruption is the foremost enemy of justice, trust and the nation’s future.
His Royal Highness said he was shocked and disheartened that some still rally behind individuals found guilty of serious corruption offences, as if such acts were acceptable or forgivable.
“Such attitudes reflect not only a failure to grasp the destructive impact of corruption on institutional integrity and society’s moral foundations, but also call for serious reflection on one’s faith, principles and values.”
The Negeri Sembilan ruler made the remarks at the investiture ceremony of state awards, medals and honours in conjunction with his 78th birthday at Istana Besar Seri Menanti, here today.
Also in attendance was the Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Aishah Rohani Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud.
Tuanku Muhriz also urged those who continue to support corrupt offenders to undertake self-reflection and reassess their beliefs, stressing that any tolerance or compromise on corruption runs counter to truth, justice and trust, and is wholly unacceptable in a nation governed by the rule of law.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness commended the Negeri Sembilan state government led by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, as well as federal and state civil servants and security forces, for their loyalty and dedication.
“I would like to congratulate the state government on the recognition as the country’s most progressive state last year, as well as for the achievements at both national and international levels.
“I was also informed that the state government had maintained prudent financial management, with positive revenue and expenditure performance and a budget focused on public well-being, reflecting strong governance, integrity and efficiency,” he said.
Tuanku Muhriz also expressed appreciation to the private sector, non-governmental organisations and the public for their continued support in advancing the state’s development.
The ruler also reminded recipients of state awards, medals and honours that they bear the responsibility of upholding the dignity of the awards through exemplary conduct, ethics and personal character.
At the ceremony, Tunku Kecil Muda Tunku Datuk Mahmood Fawzy Tunku Muhiyiddin led the list of 532 recipients, receiving the Seri Setia Tuanku Muhriz (SSTM) award, which carries the title Datuk Seri.
Auditor-General Datuk Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi was conferred the Seri Setia Negeri Sembilan (SSNS) award, also carrying the title Datuk Seri. — Bernama
