Let’s just say, enough is enough. Just resign and give Malaysians the chance to rid the Parliament of traitorous political frogs in by-elections.
The 15th General Election and state elections ended on Aug 12.
Anwar and his UG have no time to waste to govern and steer Malaysia to greater socio-economic heights.
And their mammoth task is to settle Malaysia’s RM1.5 trillion national debt - no thanks to previous incompetent federal governments and leaders, like Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Najib Abdul Razak.

Latest Plan To Topple PM Anwar – Hishammuddin To Lead 7 UMNO Traitors To Trigger By-Elections If Wins Pulai
AS President Abdul Hadi Awang told all and sundry that Anwar-led Unity Government could collapse if Opposition Perikatan Nasional wins the upcoming Pulai parliamentary by-election. Exactly how could the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS – Parti Islam Se-Malaysia), along with its sidekick Bersatu (Malaysian United Indigenous Party) forms a backdoor government with just 74 MPs?
Even if the opposition manages to snatch Pulai, its total Member of Parliaments in the 222-seat Parliament will increase to 75. It’s indeed laughable that the opposition thinks it could topple the current government with just 75 MPs against 147 MPs. Sure, the alliance of Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional might lose its two-thirds majority if Pulai is lost. But the unity government is still intact.
In comparison, the previous backdoor regime of Muhyiddin Yassin had a razor-thin majority of only 114 MPs. Of course, the disgraced man finally lost power after just 17 months – betrayed by a faction of his own ally, the United Malays National Organization (UMNO). His chosen successor, “turtle-egg” Ismail Sabri served only 15 months – the shortest-serving prime minister in history.
If both illegitimate and un-elected premiers could survive for 33 months with just 114 MPs, surely Anwar – armed with more than 140 MPs – could last till the next 16th General Election. So, was power-crazy Hadi hallucinating after smoking weed, or high on “ketum”? After all, he had made a similar claim in the run-up to the six state elections held earlier this month.
In truth, both Bersatu president Muhyiddin and PAS president Hadi were cocksure, or at least fantasized, that Perikatan Nasional could snatch crown jewel Selangor from Pakatan Harapan. The “green wave” that swept through Malaysia during the 15th General Election last November, however, failed to turn into a “tsunami” which the Opposition had hoped for.
The failure to capture Penang, Selangor or Negeri Sembilan means both ruling government and the opposition returned to the status quo. It also means Perikatan Nasional could have received its maximum support from the conservative Malays. It has reached its peak. The only way to go, therefore, is for the wave to subside. The opposition has to wait for another 4 years at the ballot box.
But the crooks don’t have four years. Muhyiddin might end up in prison like former PM Najib Razak. His dubious spending in the RM600 billion Covid scandal is still alive and kicking. Bersatu may quit Perikatan Nasional, or PAS may kick out Bersatu. The distrust has begun as PAS greedily grabbed everything, including state executive councillors (Exco) and all four states (Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan and Terengganu).
Poor Muhyiddin is now left with not a single state to administer, even though his party has won more parliamentary and state seats than in the 2018 General Election. Before his betrayal in the infamous “Sheraton Move” in early 2020, Bersatu was given the privilege to run the states of Johor, Perak and Kedah. It’s a matter of time before the party followers leave in droves.
That’s why Perikatan Nasional top leadership keeps creating new narratives that the unity government would “collapse soon”. It is part of the old school of psychological warfare to give hope to party followers and to prevent them from quitting. Without power and access to federal resources, the opposition parties find it hard to feed its grassroots and grease the machinery.
But how does Hadi plan to snatch power and shamelessly create yet another backdoor government? The religious extremist has actually dropped all the hints when he said – “We need an extra seat in Pulai and a few others, so we have to be patient.” Crucially, he has also expressed hope that UMNO would change its mind and “repent” – suggesting a grand betrayal.
The opposition’s game plan is pretty easy. Hishammuddin Hussein, the cousin of crooked Najib Razak, will play the most important role to destabilize his own party – UMNO – if Pulai seat is captured. That’s why Hadi said the opposition needs the extra seat in Pulai. That extra seat will be interpreted as a sign that conservative and radical Malays have breached the UMNO fortress in Johor.
Previously, UMNO insiders claimed that 15 MPs, including 2 lawmakers from Anwar’ own party – PKR (People’s Justice Party) – were ready to switch sides, and re-contest under the Opposition banner after the mass resignations. Leading the UMNO traitors, saboteurs and provocateurs would be Hishammuddin, who has been suspended by his own party for 6 years. - Malaysia Chronicle

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22, 2023: The 15th General Election (GE15) and state elections ended on Aug 12 but the “Talibans” in PAS and Perikatan insist with continuous or unabated politicking.
This is to the detriment of the rakyat dan negara (people and country) when all Malaysians, especially politicians from both sides of the divide, should be focusing all their time and energy to help heal their country’s economy which is saddled with a RM1.5 trillion national debt, no thanks to previous federal governts and their leaders.
They continue to try to destabilise and topple Anwar Ibrahim’s Unity Government (UG) with talks of Sheraton Move 2.0, a move that installed a backdoor federal government with “political frogs”.
However, the situation is now different, with the anti-party hopping law in force. Those who switch will have to vacate their parliamentary seats for by-elections.
Is that a risk even “frogs” will take?
And the Taliban-like PAS which dominates Perikatan Nasional (PN) led by Muhyiddin “I Am Malay First” Yassin are lying when they claim they have the numbers.
Even with Barisan Nasional (BN)-Umno leaving the UG, Pakatan Harapan (PH) will still remain as the federal UG with the solid support of the Sarawak-Sabah bloc, not withstanding the possibility of PH winning in the by-elections caused by “frogs”.
And, where will Umno go to? PN? It will be politically slaughtered, and will PAS and Bersatu even make way for Umno to contest in GE16 which must be held in 2027?
Anwar and PH had been generous in the state elections, making way for Umno to contest more seats than Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Amanah in Malay-majority seats?
Anwar is likely to do the same in GE16, if all things remain the same, in his power-sharing formula in the distribution of seats.
So, are there any valid reasons why Umno will quit UG, with its president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi strongly-backed by Anwar and dismissing calls from certain quarters in Umno calling for him to quit for their personal political agenda.

Zahid denies talk of 7 BN MPs vacating seats
Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today dismissed rumours that seven BN MPs are vacating their seats.
The BN chairperson said this was just a rumour as the coalition’s MPs are tied down after signing a cooperation pact.
“Most importantly, if they want to make any political move they need to wait until the end of the term. They should also think of the mandate. In addition, appointment letters issued to them were to represent the party, not themselves.
“They have signed the agreement and made the pledge before me,” he said.
He was asked to comment on Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam’s video in which he claimed seven MPs from Johor, Pahang, Sabah, and the northern peninsula were vacating their seats.
He said this at the closing of the Royal Malaysia Police Madani Ride convoy at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters in Shah Alam today.
Also present were Deputy Inspector-General of Police Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department director Hazani Ghazali, and Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan.
On the Pelangai state seat now vacant, Zahid said he discussed the matter with Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.
“We have studied the results in the last general election and we feel there must be continuity in the development of the Pelangai constituency area,” he said.
The Pelangai seat was declared vacant following the death of its incumbent Johari Harun in a plane crash on Guthrie Highway in Bandar Elmina, Shah Alam, on Aug 17.
The Election Commission in a statement today informed that a special meeting would be held this Thursday to discuss the by-election for the seat. BERNAMA
Malay nationalists who blame others for their own failures
A recent call by a Muslim coalition of NGOs to exclude DAP from the government is the same as the senile call by Dr Mahathir Mohamad that Malaysia belongs to Malay people.
Their bigoted agenda is to unify the ummah (Muslim solidarity) for the benefit of religion, the Malay race and the nation by excluding DAP from being part of the unity government.
These NGOs are still shackled with a mentality of blaming others and not accepting responsibility for their failures.
Malays dominate in all aspects of Malaysian life, yet these groups fear a party which has every right to be part of the government based on democratic principles. They ask Muslim political parties to be open-minded but yet they are close-minded.
This Muslim coalition of NGOs has failed to admit that Malaysia is a multiracial country and that people of other communities contributed to the development of the country.
East Malaysians abhor such bigoted views and reject the notion Malaysia belongs to Malays. They ignore the history of how Malaysia was formed and the Malaysia Agreement 1963.
The Malay nationalists do not want to admit that the cause of their current demise is due to corrupt leaders who have helmed the nation for several decades.
Despite affirmative action to put the Malays on par with others, they have failed miserably and resorted to blaming others for their failures. DAP has always been the Malay bogeyman and an easy target.
Instead of blaming DAP, these groups should learn from DAP how to win election after election. Unity and solidarity have helped DAP to succeed, while Malay parties have become fragmented and broken.
Corruption and bad leadership have taken their toll. The major unifying force in the northern states is conservative Islam, not concern for economic development, education, or people’s welfare.
Since the 2013 elections, we have seen four successive governments led by Malay majority cabinet members, yet the failures of these leaders are heaped on non-Malays.
When will be the day when the Malays own up to their own mistakes and take the reins by the horn and say with honesty, we are to blame? Until then, the Malays will continue to be viewed as being incapable of contributing to the development of a strong and vibrant Malaysia.
Malaysia is clearly a divided nation despite a unity government in place. The country is becoming sectarian in outlook as politics has pitted Malays against Malays and Islam against Islamists. Up north we have states controlled by Muslim conservatives, while in the east of Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak are united against the injustice of 60 years of being left behind in national development.
East Malaysians are not conceding to the “Malay state” claim without a fight to protect their freedom and harmonious society. A group of Borneo activists have replied to the Muslim Coalition by stating that there is no race and religion in Parliament, only lawmakers, and the rule of law remains the basis of the constitution in Malaysia; it is colour-blind, secular, and enshrines freedom of conscience, speech, association, and assembly. They are prepared to exit from Malaysia.
Every Malay-led government is now subject to challenges like never before. Every day, there are rumours that people are switching camps and fears that the government will fall. It seems the Malays are not satisfied with anything at all.
The Madani government which is supposed to be a reformist government is now like a PAS government giving more powers to Jakim and making the same mistakes as Umno in the battle of the holier than thou attitude.
Even the advice of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to form a unity government has been ignored. Like Humpty Dumpty in the nursery rhyme, the Malays had a bad fall, and all the king’s horses and the kings’ men cannot put Humpty Dumpty together again.
Corruption has brought the Malay-controlled government down. Former prime minister Najib has been jailed for corruption. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is right to tackle corruption as his number one priority. Malaysia is billions in debt, and much of the money has leaked out into the hands of a selected few. We pay for naval ships by the billions and have yet to see one delivered, weakening the country’s defences. DAP has nothing to do with these issues.
The bigoted Malay groups need to progress beyond race and religion. Many Malays who have ventured from our shores have done well in a competitive world. Living in Malaysia with racial and religious politics is like having an albatross around your neck. – WRITER – JOE SAMAD – FMT
