Anwar should learn how and when to MYOB!
(#VantageOnFirstpost: India's Stern Message to Countries Looking to Mediate)
Countries like Iran and Malaysia are trying to mediate between India and Pakistan amid rising tensions between the two neighbours. Pakistan is also asking gulf states like Saudi Arabia and the UAE to put pressure on India. How should India see these mediation bids? What's in it for these peace brokers?

KUALA LUMPUR, May 6, 2025: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim should learn how and when to MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) instead of embarrassing himself and Malaysia.
If you cannot remain neutral, then learn how to keep your mouth shut or MYOB! This is especially true on international matters, with big players.
Malaysia is nothing to the big players in the world.
Anwar offered to mediate the rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
But India retorted saying the Hamas (terrorist)-loving Anwar is not qualified to be a mediator because he and Malaysia are not neutral.
India’s Firstpost criticised both Iran and Malaysia for offering to mediate, arguing that neither nation is neutral - and therefore unqualified - to act as peace brokers.
“The terror attack happened in India, but Malaysia understands Pakistan’s difficulties … These are not neutral mediators; they have taken Pakistan’s side quite frequently,” said journalist Palki Sharma.

A prominent Indian media organisation has taken aim at Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim over his remarks on the growing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Firstpost criticised both Iran and Malaysia for offering to mediate, arguing that neither nation is neutral - and therefore unqualified - to act as peace brokers.
“Same with Malaysia. Their prime minister says he ‘understands Pakistan’s difficulties’. How absurd is that?
