FLASHBACK: A senator has asked why Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has yet to be investigated for sedition after posting a picture of himself holding a sword on Facebook. Akmal had posted the picture, taken during a recent trip to Japan, on March 14. The picture was captioned: “No matter what, we will not waver from our stance. Better to die standing than live kneeling.”

FLASHBACK: Lawyer and social activist Siti Kasim said: "I recently saw a TikTok video where he (Akmal) was seen calling the Malays to be ready. He was seen sharpening a parang ... this is something the police must act on.

"It is like he is instigating the Malays to create problems. Islam never teaches us all this," said Siti.

Cops probed Umno youth chief “Dr‘Ham” last year for violating 3R … but where is the action?

Cops probing Kedah MB Sanusi and Rembau Umno leader

KUALA LUMPUR, July 28, 2026: Wow! So relieving for national unity and harmony!

The police say they are investigating Perikatan Nasional election director Sanusi Nor and a divisional Umno leader over controversial remarks made by Rembau Umno information chief Shukri Shamsuddin during the Negeri Sembilan state election campaign.

Pray this is just not another wayang kulit (shadow play), like how they probed the racial and religious bigoted Umno youth chief Dr Akmal “Dr Ham/I Am Malay First” Saleh last year and then … the infamous NFA (No Further Action)?

Akmal was invited by the cops to just enjoy a cup of coffee or tea?

It is making a mockery of the Madani Unity Government (UG)’s 3R (Race, Religion, Royalty) with selective actions.

What about the anti-national unity and harmony Muslim converts like Ridhuan Tee, Firdaus Wong and Zamri Vinoth to name a few who utter sensitivities like there is no tomorrow?

Even foreigners, like Zakir Naik, a criminal wanted by India, is allowed to breach the 3R and divide multi-racial Malaysians till the cows come home!

No News Is Bad News reproduces below the news report(read it with a pinch of salt) on the police saying they are investigating Sanusi and Rembau Umno:

Cops to summon Sanusi, Umno man over campaign remarks

FMT Reporters

The cases are being probed for promoting feelings of ill will, making statements with intent to cause public alarm, and the improper use of network facilities.

Two police reports were lodged over PN election director Sanusi Nor’s remarks, in which he suggested that different ethnic groups in Malaysia could fall back on ancestral homelands outside the country.

PETALING JAYA: Police have launched investigations into Perikatan Nasional election director Sanusi Nor and a divisional Umno leader over controversial remarks made during the Negeri Sembilan state election campaign.

State police chief Alzafny Ahmad said both men and several other parties would be summoned to have their statements recorded, Sin Chew reported.

Alzafny said two police reports were lodged over Sanusi’s remarks, in which the Kedah menteri besar suggested that different ethnic groups in Malaysia could fall back on ancestral homelands outside the country.

“We will summon Sanusi to have his statement recorded as soon as possible and hope to complete the investigation quickly,” he said.

Meanwhile, 11 reports were filed against Rembau Umno information chief Shukri Shamsuddin, who allegedly said DAP was “controlling” the palace and state authorities to the point that the “dignity” of certain communities had been affected.

Alzafny said the statements of several witnesses had already been taken in both cases.

Investigations are being conducted under Section 4A(1) of the Election Offences Act 1954 for promoting feelings of ill will or hostility; Section 505(b) of the Penal Code for statements made with intent to cause public alarm; and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for the improper use of network facilities.
