KUALA LUMPUR, July 19, 2026: On Aug 1, Negri Sembilan (N9) voters go to the polls basically with three choices.
They are:
> Pakatan Harapan - PH (DAP, PKR and Amanah);
> Barisan Nasional - BN (Umno, Perikatan Nasional - PN PAS, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and MIPP); and
> Bersatu.
BUT, what are they really?
> 
PH is multi-racial and it refrains/avoids from projecting a political image of racial and religious bigotry;

BN - comprising of racial and religious bigots from Umno and the Taliban-like PAS, with a plus for Umno - the country’s biggest pencuri (thief);and
> 
Bersatu - led by the unpatriotic racist Muhyiddin “I Am Malay First” Yassin.
To N9 voters - the choice is yours, and your ballots will elect whether you want to be governed by bigots and thieves.
And as for PH (PKR and DAP), no excuses of vote-splitting (when what it is is democracy) if you lose! There’s no Bersama to blame as it has opted out of the N9 elections.
Only with Muda, PSM and Asli contesting a seat each.

Give PH stronger mandate, Anwar tells Negeri Sembilan voters
The Pakatan Harapan chairman says this is to ensure the continuity of a clean, stable and principled administration under menteri besar Aminuddin Harun's leadership.
In calling for voters to support PH’s 36 candidates, Anwar Ibrahim said while various initiatives have been undertaken in Negeri Sembilan since 2018, much more remains to be done to ensure prosperity for all its people.
PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan chairman Anwar Ibrahim has called on voters in Negeri Sembilan to give the coalition a stronger mandate in the Aug 1 state election.
Anwar said this would ensure continuity of the state’s administration by PH previously helmed by menteri besar Aminuddin Harun.
“I humbly seek the consideration and trust of the people of Negeri Sembilan to give PH a stronger mandate to ensure the continuity of a clean, stable and principled administration under Aminuddin’s leadership.
“Various initiatives have been undertaken since 2018. However, much more remains to be done to ensure prosperity for all the people of Negeri Sembilan,” Anwar, who is also the PKR president and prime minister, said in a Facebook post tonight.
Aminuddin, who is the state PH chairman, is in a three-cornered race for the Umno stronghold of Linggi against Barisan Nasional’s Faizal Ramli and Bersatu’s Zamri Said.
He previously represented Sikamat for four consecutive terms.
PH is contesting all 36 seats in Negeri Sembilan, while BN is contesting 25 seats, Perikatan Nasional 11, and Bersatu 24.
Appointed reps belong in the 20th century, says DAP man

PETALING JAYA: A DAP assemblyman has sounded the alarm over recent amendments to Johor and Melaka’s constitutions to pave the way for appointed representatives in their legislatures.
Tebing Tinggi assemblyman Aziz Bari said this was a strange development in the modern world, maintaining that members of legislative assemblies should be democratically elected, not appointed.
“It’s a strange thing to happen in the 21st century as such things belong to the 20th century.
“It appears that these new amendments try to undermine democracy using democratic means. They are forgetting the roots and the spirit of our democracy,” he told FMT.
Earlier this week, Melaka Pakatan Harapan decided to withdraw from the Barisan Nasional-led state government following the passage of a constitutional amendment allowing the appointment of up to seven unelected state assemblymen.
The Johor assembly had also approved a similar amendment last month, drawing protests from PH assemblymen in the state then.
Before this, only Sabah, Terengganu and Pahang had laws allowing such appointments.
