Remember what happened in Sabah? Did PH and DAP learnt anything from the crushing political defeats in Sabah? And now Johor (DAP is down from 10 to six seats)! Next, GE16?
Johoreans support Umno party of pencuri-pencuri (thieves) since Merdeka 1957 until today
KUALA LUMPUR, July 12, 2026: It is said that leopards can never change its spots.
In politics, it is so true for Johoreans who still give their ballots to the Umno pencuri-pencuri (thieves), since Merdeka (Independence) 1957.
To the Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN)-loving Johoreans, it is “political business as usual” but it will surely be a fateful and a sad day if multi-racial Malaysians in other states politically behave the same as Johoreans in the next state or general elections.
In GE15, Malaysians rejected Umno, leaving it with only 26 MPs in the 222-seat Parliament.
In yesterday’s Johor elections, only BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH) parties won seats in the 56-seat state assembly.
BN won 48 and PH won eight.
Umno won 36 seats, MCA eight and MIC four. DAP won six, and both PKR and Amanah one each.
All the rest coalitions, parties and Independents were sent home packing “duck eggs”!
The electoral results also clearly shows, specifically in Johor, PH chief and prime minister Anwar Ibrahim has helped keep BN-Umno “very much alive” with his political policies favouring the racist and thieving Umno.
Apparently, Anwar and DAP, in post elections statements and responses show they have not learnt anything from their crushing electoral defeats in Johor.
Multi-racial Malaysians might as well prepare to live under the governance of racial and religious bigots, Taliban-like rule?
With MCA winning eights seats, surpassing DAP’s six (DAP lost four of its incumbent seats), its makes no difference.
Both MCA and DAP (MCA 2.0) are political lap dogs to Umno and PKR respectively.
Even with a significant higher voter turnout, PH and others still suffered crushing defeats at the hands of BN.
It sure looks like the voters had returned in droves to cast their ballots to teach Anwar, DAP and PH a lesson but they still do not see it that way!
Both Anwar and DAP’s Anthony Loke still cannot see the disappointing protests in Sabah and Johor elections.
Continue with supporting the racial and religious bigots and the Umno-led BN thieves will return to federal power in GE16.
No News Is Bad News reproduces below two articles on the Johor elections:
MCA wins 8 seats in Johor, surpassing DAP’s 6
The BN component party's biggest achievement was to regain Tangkak, Jementah and Johor Jaya, which had been held by DAP since 2013.
Having consistently lost multiple urban, Chinese-majority seats to DAP over the past decade or so, the outcome of the Johor polls could put to rest calls for MCA to leave BN.
PETALING JAYA: MCA has won eight seats in the Johor state assembly, surpassing DAP’s haul of six seats, in what marks a major achievement for Umno’s Chinese-based partner in Barisan Nasional.
The outcome of the Johor election overturns a record of consistent MCA losses in urban, Chinese-majority seats to DAP over the past decade or so, and could put to rest calls for MCA to leave BN.
The party’s biggest achievement tonight was in regaining Tangkak, Jementah and Johor Jaya, three seats that were MCA seats for years before falling to DAP in 2013, 2018 and 2022, although with significantly reduced majorities.
MCA also managed to maintain its grip on Pekan Nanas, Yong Peng, Bekok and Paloh – seats that it won in 2022 – and helped BN hold on to the Layang-Layang seat, which Umno won in 2022, seeing off the challenge of PKR’s B Guna and Bersatu’s Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim.
DAP, on the other hand, saw its 10 seats dwindle to six, with three lost to MCA and one to MIC (Perling), while clinging on to the Bentayan, Mengkibol, Stulang, Penggaram, Senai and Skudai seats.
The result averts a repeat of the total wipeout it experienced in the Sabah polls in November, but will undoubtedly set alarm bells ringing among the top leadership with the next general election not long from now.

JOHOR POLL | How Will Anthony Loke Take Full Responsibility Now?
The Johor election saw a high 70 percent voter turnout. A 70 percent turnout indicates a motivated and energized electorate.
Previously, I was wondering what was motivating and energizing the voters. Well, judging by the early poll results, I believe I have found my answer.
The answer is that the voters were motivated and energized to teach PH a lesson.
According to unofficial results, BN is leading in 49 of the 56 seats.
PH is also trailing in seats such as Tangkak and Johor Jaya, which it had won previously.
While it does not look like PH will be completely routed as it was in the Sabah election, it does appear set to suffer another clear and decisive defeat in Johor.
In December last year, Anthony Loke stated that he would take full responsibility for DAP's disastrous outing in Sabah.
Because Anthony didn't tender his resignation after saying he will take full responsibility, we can deduce that what Anthony meant was that he would do everything within his power to ensure that the defeat DAP suffered in Sabah would not be repeated.
If Johor turns out to be another resounding defeat for DAP, and all signs are pointing in that direction, Anthony obviously cannot simply say he will take full responsibility for the Johor defeat as well, without rendering the term "full responsibility" completely meaningless and himself completely irresponsible.
Judging by the high voter turnout, it appears that many voters had travelled from out of state to cast their ballots in Johor specifically to teach PH and DAP a lesson.
Thet is a damning indictment of PH and DAP.
Whatever it was that Anthony did after Sabah to turn things around, it has clearly not worked.
Now, the question is: what will Anthony do next? Let's tag Anthony Loke Siew Fook to see what his reaction is .
