Wake up Malaysians or you will lose your rakyat (people)’s power to Umno!

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15, 2026: Wake up Malaysians!

The pencuri-pencuri (thieves) Umno (1MDB and Petronas’ RM1.4 trillion, just to name two of Umno's biggest theft from the rakyat) have started hijacking the Federal Constitution to undermine your voting rights and power!

And that is exactly what is happening in Melaka with Umno using its brute two-thirds majority, with backing of Umno’s No. 1 loyal lapdog MCA!

They have passed a bill allowing their appointed assemblymen to vote in the state assembly!Appointing seven assemblymen in an august house that has 28 elected assemblymen!

To Umno, if you don’t have confidence to win enough in the state assembly in the future, just appoint and hijack the Constitutional rights of the rakyat (people)’s power and you are free to do whatever you want and get away with “murder”.

Did God give Umno the right to take RM1.4 trillion from Petronas, as revealed by former Umno treasurer and finance minister Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah?

If Melaka Umno gets away with this hijacking of the peoples’ rights, then other states and Umno MPs will seize to do the same, should they win enough seats in their states and the 222-seat Parliament.

So, the immediate challenge is for Malaysians to take the Melaka Umno government to court for undermining the Federal Constitution and the rights of the people!

So, fellow Malaysians, be very, very careful in the coming state elections and the next general election (GE16).

You may lose your constitutional rights without even knowing it. The Umno thieves cannot be trusted as they do not work demi rakyat dan negara (for people and country).

Only for their pockets and their self-interests!

In GE16 and state elections, vote anything but BN-Umno!!!

Melaka DAP leads, lifts hope for party

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15, 2026: Did Melaka DAP get the consent of its central leadership to pull out from the state government?

Whether they did or did not is really not the real importance.

Melaka DAP has shown the way and their political guts.

Just like what staunch reformist Rafizi Ramli and his deputy, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad did, they are selfless politicians who were willing to give up their cushy government posts demi rakyat dan negara (for people and country).

Melaka DAP and its the party’s two executive councillors, two deputy executive councillors and deputy speaker are truly politicians who serve the rakyat.

They have the guts to tell the racial and religious bigoted Umno thieves (read as 1MDB and Petronas RM1.4 trillion) to go fly kites.

The next urgent matter is to take the Umno government to court over the unconstitutional bill to allow appointed (not elected by the rakyat) assemblymen to vote in the state assembly.

Now that the politically problematic Pakatan Harapan (PH) chief and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has asked Melaka DAP to reconsider quitting the Umno-led government, will they do it? Did Anwar say the same to Umno in Johor and Melaka?

Given DAP secretary Anthony Loke’s buddy-buddy with Anwar, and if Melaka DAP “caves in” to Anwar, then DAP will be punished by multi-racial Malaysians in the next general election  (GE16), deepening DAP’s political grave.

It is time for multi-racial Malaysians to identify the Anwar boot lickers in PKR and DAP and throw them out of state assemblies and Parliament in GE16.

Get rid of the woes and problems - Anwar Ibrahim!

Anwar asks DAP to reconsider quitting Melaka govt

The PH chairman says the matter should be negotiated between him, DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook and the Melaka chief minister.

PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim said it was important to maintain the cooperation in Melaka for the sake of the people and to ensure continued economic development.

PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan chairman Anwar Ibrahim has urged Melaka DAP to reconsider its decision to quit the Barisan Nasional-led state government.

The prime minister said the matter should be negotiated between him, DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook and Melaka chief minister Ab Rauf Yusoh first, Utusan Malaysia reported.

While there may be disagreements between DAP and Rauf’s administration, Anwar said it was important to maintain the cooperation for the sake of the people and to ensure continued economic development.

“I discussed the matter with Loke and the chief minister earlier. If possible, hold off (on quitting the Melaka government) for now … I hope they will consider my appeal,” said the PKR president.

FMT has reached out to Melaka DAP chief Khoo Poay Tiong for comment.

At a press conference this afternoon, Melaka DAP announced its withdrawal from the state government following the passage of a constitutional amendment allowing the appointment of up to seven unelected state assemblymen.

Khoo said the party’s two executive councillors, two deputy executive councillors and deputy speaker would resign from their posts.

The Kota Melaka MP added that all four DAP assemblymen would sit on the opposition benches when the Melaka assembly reconvenes tomorrow.

DAP joined the state government when Rauf became chief minister in 2023 and reshuffled the executive council to reflect the PH-BN partnership at the unity government level.

BN holds a two-thirds majority in the 28-member Melaka assembly with its 20 seats. PH holds five while Perikatan Nasional has three.

MELAKA, July 14 — Melaka DAP today announced its withdrawal from the state government in protest against the passage of a Bill allowing the appointment of nominated state assemblymen.

Melaka DAP chairman Khoo Poay Tiong said the party was standing by its principles after all state Pakatan Harapan (PH) assemblymen voted against the Bill, including Kesidang assemblyman Allex Seah Shoo Chin, who serves as a state executive councillor (exco).

“In keeping with the principles of parliamentary democracy, we will withdraw from the Melaka state government,” Khoo told reporters at the State Legislative Assembly in remarks broadcast live on his Facebook page.

“This is because, as a member of the state executive council, Allex should not vote against a motion tabled by the state government.

“However, we remain committed to the democratic principles upheld during the election. Our position has always been clear — we oppose the proposal to appoint nominated assemblymen, and we stand by that principle,” he added.

Khoo said Melaka PH chairman Adly Zahari had also opposed the Bill during the sitting.

Earlier, the Melaka State Legislative Assembly passed amendments to the state constitution paving the way for the appointment of nominated assemblymen despite opposition from PH.

Khoo acknowledged that the state government may want to draw on the expertise of professionals, but said they could instead be appointed as advisers.

“If the state government wants the services of professionals or experts, they can appoint them as advisers instead of nominated assemblymen.

“Once they are appointed as assemblymen, they can sit in the State Legislative Assembly and vote. That goes against the principles of our electoral system, where representatives should be elected by the people,” he said.

Khoo said it would be inconsistent for DAP to remain in the administration after voting against a key government Bill.

“As a responsible party, we cannot reject a government motion and at the same time remain in the government while enjoying the privileges and resources that come with it. That would not be fair,” he said.

He confirmed that Allex, the party’s two deputy executive councillors and the deputy speaker of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly will step down from their posts.

Melaka DAP’s four elected representatives will retain their seats but move to the Opposition bloc.

Dismissing suggestions that the decision was linked to the upcoming Johor state election, Khoo said the party had informed Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh of its position before the Bill was tabled.
