Look what Umno has started and supports
KUALA LUMPUR, March 30, 2024: A KK Mart outlet in Pahang’s Kuantan was petrol-bombed at about 5am today.
No casualty was reported in the attack, the second such incident at the nationwide convenience store chain.
Law-abiding-peace-loving Malaysians must remember this Made-in-China Allah-brand controversy and vote out all racial and religious bigots in the next general election which is due in 2027.
Despite calls by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his deputy (Umno president) Zahid Hamidi, and even the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong to all to stop the hatred and violence, the bigots continue to threaten national unity and harmony, prolonging the controversy.
The controversy was started by Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Salleh and fully supported by the Umno Supreme Council.
Akmal even went to this extent:
Lawyer and social activist Siti Kasim said: "I recently saw a TikTok video where he (Akmal) was seen calling the Malays to be ready. He was seen sharpening a parang ... this is something the police must act on.
"It is like he is instigating the Malays to create problems. Islam never teaches us all this," said Siti.
Despite the clear veiled threat against Malaysians, national security and harmony, the police and the Anwar-led so-called Madani Unity Government (UG) have taken no action against the racial and religious bigoted Akmal and Umno.
Thus, the bigots have been emboldened and have resorted to “Malays get ready” violence.
Yes, unfortunately for rakyat dan negara (people and country), Umno has started a fire which it is unable to douse, fuelled by police and Government’s inaction.
Firdaus Wong and Akmal Saleh have made Malaysia the laughing "socks" (stock )of the world

-30 Mar 2024, 01:09 PM
Workers inside managed to quickly douse the blaze, says Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu.
Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu said that initial investigation showed that the perpetrator may have thrown the bomb from a distance to avoid being caught by the store’s security cameras.
PETALING JAYA: Another KK Mart has been attacked with a petrol bomb, successfully this time, in Kuantan, Pahang.
Malaysiakini reported Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu as saying that the 5am incident at the branch in Sg Isap, Kuantan saw the bomb set alight several items displayed in front of the store.
Workers inside who heard the attack immediately doused the blaze using a fire extinguisher.
Wan Zahari said that initial investigation showed that the perpetrator may have thrown the bomb from a distance to avoid being caught by the store’s security cameras.
He said that police are now checking CCTV recordings from nearby stores and searching the area for evidence.
Earlier this week, a petrol bomb was also thrown at a KK Mart store in Bidor, Perak, at about the same time.
Thrown by a person who has yet to be identified, the petrol bomb landed in front of the store but did not explode.
Staff members were working inside the store when the incident occurred.
Meanwhile, Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim has urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail to intervene in the matter and calm tensions.
“The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the sultan of Perak, and the inspector-general of police have spoken up and advised to calm racial and religious tensions.
“The people now call on the prime minister and the home minister as leaders of the unity government to make an executive decision, based on the law,” he said in a statement.
KK Mart’s founder and director, Chai Kee Kan and Loh Siew Mui, were charged in court on Tuesday with intentionally wounding the religious feelings of Muslims by selling socks embroidered with the word “Allah”.
Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has remained on the offensive since the controversy began, publicly campaigning for a nationwide boycott of the chain.
Umno Youth had, however, condemned the first petrol bomb attack, urging all parties to leave the matter to the police.
