Umno president Zahid Hamidi giving a good pat to MCA president Dr Wee Ka Siong for being such a good and faithful Umno lapdog for decades.
Wee-led MCA an extremely good and faithful Umno lapdog
KUALA LUMPUR, March 23, 2024: MCA - once an Umno lapdog, always a lapdog.
For decades, MCA has been breaking fast with Umno and do law-abiding multi-racial peace-loving Malaysians see any tightening of racial and religious bonds between Muslims and non-Muslims?
Even with Umno’s current fiery threat over the 14 pairs of Made-in-China “Allah” brand socks that were mistakenly shipped and found the way to KK Mart, the inept MCA president Dr Wee Ka Siong had nothing to say except to curry favour with Umno.
Even after Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his deputy (Umno president) Zahid Hamidi had called on Malaysians to move on and put a stop to the “Allah” brand socks’ controversy.
One wonders who is in charge of Umno and the country.
And, Wee has nothing to say about this veiled threat to non-Muslims by the racial and religious bigoted Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Salleh (fully backed by Umno):
Lawyer and social activist Siti Kasim said: "I recently saw a TikTok video where he (Akmal) was seen calling the Malays to be ready. He was seen sharpening a parang ... this is something the police must act on.
"It is like he is instigating the Malays to create problems. Islam never teaches us all this," said Siti.
But MCA today has a fast growing and formidable rival political lapdog in the extremely muted DAP on racial and religious bigotry.
Meanwhile, Malaysia is already ranked as the World’s No.2 most racist country in a global survey.
Soon, there won’t be any investors, both domestic and foreign, left to save Malaysia from its more than RM3 trillion (national debt + household debt) debt-ridden economy.
And all Malaysians will suffer from the misery of a failed economy and nation.

KUALA LUMPUR: Breaking fast together tightens bonds between Umno and non-Muslim leaders in Barisan Nasional, said Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
In a Facebook posting on Friday (March 22), the MCA president said that it was "tradition" for him to attend such events when invited.
"It has become a tradition. Every time, I have been given an invite I will surely be present to celebrate with my friends in Umno in breaking fast. Such events serve to tighten the bonds amongst the Umno leadership with its grassroots and with non-muslim friends from Barisan Nasional," he said.
He added that the event on Friday at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur here also saw aid being handed over to orphans by Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. - The Star
