Sooner or later, all in PH, Sabah and Sarawak will live to regret ‘sleeping’ with the multi-headed devious Umno political 'snake'

KUALA LUMPUR, March 30, 2024: After the 15th General Election (GE15), many were quick to give Umno the benefit of doubt that it is better than the Taliban-like PAS and the racist Perikatan Nasional (PN) led by the unpatriotic Muhyiddin “I Am Malay First” Yassin.

Umno was then seen as a saviour for multi-racial Malaysia by supporting the Pakatan Harapan-led and so-called Madani Unity Government (UG).

Today, multi-racial law-abiding Malaysians who treasure national unity and harmony, have started spitting Umno on the face.

Umno is certainly no saviour of Malaysia from Taliban-like rulr by PAS and PN.

Like what former law minister Zaid Ibrahim said, Umno was showing its true colours again.

“Umno has come alive, doing things others consider inappropriate or illegal. Who would have thought that a political hegemon close to extermination would be showing its true colours once again?

“Thanks to the intervention and life support system … DAP, PKR, Amanah, Sabah and Sarawak, Umno (are) well and thriving again,” he added.

Since the UG is part and parcel of the racial and religious bigoted Umno, and there is no more Harapan (Hope) it is now up to individual Malaysians to save Malaysia through the ballots to be cast in the next general election which is due in 2027.

Malaysians would do well to start keeping a blacklist of all the racial and religious bigots so that they are given the boot from any political power.

And, the bigots are found on both sides of the political divide.

Malaysians should make it their mission and priority in the next national polls to rid the country of such bigots from politics. And the rest, who ever or how the Government is formed is secondary - as long as the bigots are out of public offices or as lawmakers.

If bigots are fielded by PH, Umno or the Opposition, and there is no party to choose from, then pick the next best Independent candidate or a candidate from a mosquito partyt - Muda, PSM, etc.

The right choice for multi-racial-multi-religious Malaysia in the next general election is: “Anything But Bigots”.

Umno showing true colours once again, says Zaid

After video of Dr Akmal Saleh giving duit raya to police personnel in Melaka, the ex-law minister says Umno is being emboldened by its place in the unity government.

Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim said the prospect of ‘Anwar Ibrahim holding hands with Azmin Ali is a welcome scenario’.

PETALING JAYA: Umno is being emboldened by its place in the unity government to do things considered inappropriate or illegal, says former law minister Zaid Ibrahim.

In a post on X today, Zaid took aim at Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh’s defence of his duit raya for police personnel, saying sardonically that the “giver decides the definition of a gift”.

“Umno has come alive, doing things others consider inappropriate or illegal. Who would have thought that a political hegemon close to extermination would be showing its true colours once again?

“Thanks to the intervention and life support system … DAP, PKR, Amanah, Sabah and Sarawak, Umno (are) well and thriving again,” he said.

Zaid said PAS and other opposition parties would likely not be able to do what Umno does.

“We have different applications of the rules and various interpretations for the same thing. Umno is always special. You can’t say ‘why can’t I do it if Umno can?”

Akmal had recently come under fire after uploading a video of himself on social media distributing duit raya to police personnel in Jasin, Melaka.

He defended the act as his “personal contribution” to the police force and civil service every Ramadan to show his appreciation for their services, a practice the Merlimau assemblyman said he has maintained since before joining politics.
