Isn’t he a threat to public and national unity? What national unity has the unity ministry achieved with the racial and religious bigots allowed to run amok.

Minister says no compromise with those who undermine national unity and harmony

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22, 2025: Unity Minister Aaron Ago Dagang says the Government will not compromise with any quarters who attempt to undermine the country's harmony.

Really? Has any action taken against anyone significant for 3R (Race, Religion, Royalty) violations.

Poor thing, you Aaron. You are just a toothless tiger aping your NATO (No Action Talk Only) boss - the PMX - leadership by example.

Look at this threat to national unity and harmony? Any action thus far? It is making a mockery of 3R which is clearly used selectively by the so-called Madani Unity Government (UG):

FLASHBACK: A senator has asked why Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has yet to be investigated for sedition after posting a picture of himself holding a sword on Facebook. Akmal had posted the picture, taken during a recent trip to Japan, on March 14. The picture was captioned: “No matter what, we will not waver from our stance. Better to die standing than live kneeling.”

FLASHBACK: Lawyer and social activist Siti Kasim said: "I recently saw a TikTok video where he (Akmal) was seen calling the Malays to be ready. He was seen sharpening a parang ... this is something the police must act on.

"It is like he is instigating the Malays to create problems. Islam never teaches us all this," said Siti.

PETALING JAYA: The government will not compromise with any quarters who attempt to undermine the country's harmony, says Aaron Ago Dagang.

The Unity Minister said unity and harmony were important assets of the country where people of various races, religions and cultures live.

"Lately there have been actions and statements which have led to tension among the people, including an incident at the KK Mart convenience store in Universiti Malaya which was splashed with red paint by an irresponsible individual.

"As the issue of the ham sandwich sale was being investigated by the police and Jakim, people should refrain from worsening the situation by issuing statements or acting provocatively," said Ago in a statement on Wednesday (Jan 22).

"I wish to remind you that every citizen has a responsibility to safeguard the sensitivity, peace and well-being of the country by further strengthening the relationship among the people.

"On the government's part, several efforts were being taken and implemented to strengthen the issue of managing unity and harmony.

Ago stressed that unity was not the exclusive task of the government but the responsibility of every Malaysian.

"With the advent of the digital era, the responsibility has become even more important when we communicate on social media.

"I urge all to use social media smartly, by avoiding any provocation and always prioritising unity," he added. - The Star
