Umno-influenced UG bent on freeing Malaysia’s biggest kleptocrat/thief Najib ‘1MDB’ Razak

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27, 2025: The above image was found on Facebook and its is likely to have been prepared and posted by anti-Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporters.

While Malaysians do not doubt the facts, that during the PN’s two-year tenure as the Government, the most number of high-profile corruption cases were dismissed or withdrawn.

But, does that absolve the Anwar Ibrahim Madani Unity Government (UG) from its pathetic so-called anti-graft priority?

Malaysia now has its biggest kleptocrat/thief , the disgraced, shameless and unrepentant Najib “1MDB” Razak in Kajang Prison.

The former Umno president stole millions, if not billions, of Ringgit from the rakyat dan negara (people and country), and the people have to bear the burden of settling the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) debt in the next decade or two.

And Anwar has admitted that he was the one who submitted the pardon’s appeal to the Pardon’s Board for Najib!

So much for UG’s priority to fight corruption! It’s nothing less than a mockery of the fight against corruption and thievery.

Yes, more high-profile corruption cases had been dismissed or withdrawn during PN’s term of governance but all the alleged corruption do not even make up for half or less than 1MDB’s loss.

Does placing Najib under house (in his case bungalow) make any sense? Read houses arrest as “backdoor freedom”.

Is the UG justified in supporting the freeing Najib so that hge gets to enjoy his ill-gotten wealth without returning a single sen of the loot to the rakyat dan negara?

What then is the difference between the corrupt-loving Umno-led Barisan Nasional (that is including MCA and MIC) and Pakatan Harapan (PH)?

That is currently the political dilemma of multiracial Malaysians come the next general election (GE16) in 2027.
