Malaysia in political turmoil?

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4, 2023: Is Malaysia really in political turmoil?

All the talk about toppling Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister (PMX) Anwar Ibrahim by the Opposition (PAS-Perikatan Nasional) appears to be just shiok sendiri (self gratification) because they just do not have the numbers in the 222-seat Parliament.

Budget 2024 (policy stage) was passed with just a whimper on Thursday (Nov 2). No no-confidence vote against Anwar.

However, the CIA-backed political website, Malaysia Chronicle (MC), opines otherwise.

It has been lobbying in numerous reports about the downfall of PMX and for former Umno-elite Hishammuddin Hussein to take over as the 11th prime minister.

But, where are his numbers in Parliament?

However, the political scenario may change should the US imposes economic sanctions on Malaysia for its pro-Hamas terrorists and Palestine Jihadists.

The sanctions will have destructive effects on Malaysia’s more than RM1.5 trillion national debt and the value of the Ringgit, thus socio-economic sufferings. (See above video clip)

All things remaining the same, Anwar’s Madani Unity Government should last till the next general election which must be held in 2027.
