Will PMX Anwar be forced to step down?

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5, 2023: Will Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister (PMX) Anwar Ibrahim face the same fate as Bapa Merdeka (Father of Independence) Tunku Abdul Rahman and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi?

That is being asked to step down from his premiership?

Actually, the tolerance level is narrower for Anwar and Harapan.

We don't expect stupid mistakes like politics on the Palestinian be involved in schools and our country.

We have enough of our own political issues especially in race and religion.

Our economy and Ringgit are issues to address too.

We cannot accept stupid mistakes from this Madani Government.

The PH Presidential Council must act in momentum and unity.

Now, even supporters of Harapan are confused of the negative actions by PMX.

Probably, he is destructing himself and Harapan in the process.

We expect more positive actions and plans to develop Malaysia and revert to our previous TIGER image in the 70s.

Education is key for this journey to clean up race and religious issues.

Also, not to involve with other political affairs of another country.

But sad to say, they are using schools for negative activities recently !!!!

As the plot thickens, would Anwar be asked to step down like Tunku Abdul Rahman and Abdullah Badawi?

MALAYSIANS who have been observant enough would have noticed that there is a trend to topple the Madani government by any means possible.

The climax of plot is clearly targeted at Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (PMX) by harping on every mistake that he makes. Humanly speaking, it is impossible for Anwar to be error-less.

The next is to attack his cabinet ministers one by one. The issues that have been harped upon thus far are clearly divisive even among staunch Pakatan Harapan (PH) supporters.

It is interesting that despite all the abuses during the previous governments that were uncovered after Anwar took over, nobody made any assessment nor criticised the mistakes of past PMs with the exception of now incarcerated Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Najib came under tremendous pressure because of the corruption scandal involving the 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Bhd) which is touted to be one of the biggest scandals ever dealt with by the US Department of Justice.

Malaysians are quick to forget that it was the lawmakers, who once made up the Opposition and led by Anwar that had risked their own lives and freedom to expose the scandal on the local front.

Now that these lawmakers have only begun their first year in Putrajaya – along with Anwar – they come under heavy criticisms from all quarters.

From the time that the Madani government was formed by the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA), Anwar’s enemies have working very hard to remove him.

The plot thickens

When the attempt to pull a motion of no-confidence did not fall through, we saw a series of food shortages. The target: blame it on the unity government. The special task force recently exposed the hoarding of local white rice at one unlicensed premise. This is probably the tip of the iceberg.

Then, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi’s discharge not amounting to acquittal (DNAA) was issued by the then attorney-general (AG) Tan Sri Idrus Harun just before he left office but the whole charade is blamed on Anwar.

When the Israel-Hamas war started and Anwar expressed his support towards the Palestinians by providing humanitarian aids, he was accused of giving RM100 mil from the public funds to Palestine. The money, however, came in the form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) from corporations such as Berjaya Group, YTL Corp Bhd and BERNAS.

People must differentiate Palestinians from Hamas. Recently, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned both Hamas and Israel on the “devastating attack by Hamas gunmen on Israel and the relentless bombardment of the Gaza Strip by Israeli jets that followed”.

Mahmoud said the Palestinian Authority has “long been opposed to Hamas” and “stood against violence and would pursue political action to achieve its goals”. However, this issue was exploited to the fullest, knowing that Malaysians are split easily between the US and China, Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Hamas.

Education Minister, Fadhlina Sidek was also unwise to initiate the Palestinian Solidarity Week in schools despite knowing that it would be sabotaged by certain quarters.

There were objections from all corners – from concerned parents and netizens to her fellow cabinet members as well as both unity government and opposition MPs. She should have pursued a theme on “Peace, No War.”

Modus operandi

It is obvious that the attempts to topple Anwar and the Madani government is a well-funded political plot right from the beginning. It does not happen overnight. A cartoonist has tipped off that some of his friends have become very active on TikTok because of easy money.

Somewhere in the country, one can safely imagine there would be a ‘war room’ where paid strategists meet regularly to discuss their plot.

Whether such a group exists, it is up to the police to carry out their undercover investigations but the existence of paid cybertroopers is now a known fact after the confession of several paid cybertroopers such as Ratu Naga. According to Ratu Naga, some of the keyboard warriors are sometimes paid in “hundreds of thousands or millions of ringgit”.

What is the main motive? The one main objective is probably to replace the PM and the government of the day. If he cannot be forced to resign midway like former premier Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the people should be herded to vote against him.

The truth is it is hard for anyone to know with certainty who are the prime suspects. Now that Perikatan Nasional ‘s (PN) account has been frozen, who still has lot of funds to flush around, one may ask.

We shall leave it to the Special Branch to unearth this whole plot which is apparently well-greased. Meanwhile, Anwar has to wield his axe and not hope to offer an olive branch to his enemies. The nation is waiting. – Nov 5, 2023
