New history taught in school: Malaysia was 18th Century world naval superpower

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 15, 2023: View the above video clip and then judge for yourselves the standard or absurdity of some of Malaysian teachers and quality of education.

The video, shared in social media, was accompanied by the following text:

New History taught in our schools today.

The teacher says Malays were great traders and traded as far as to Rome.

Malay trading ship was 8 times bigger than the largest Portuguese ship in those days....probably 18th Century.

She also says Malay ship was not allowed to go near China (Canton) as 1 Malay ship can destroy 20 Chinese ships.

Only now I know Malaya was a world super naval power in the 18th century.

Amazing history which put British, French, Portuguese and Chinese to shame !

Can't imagine such distortions of history is being taught in school today !

God bless our kids and our beloved country Malaysia

Here are some comments/responses posted on the video:

> Probably the same place where the MP for Kepala Batas get her info on LKS, LGE and LKY relation ship with Chin Peng;

> Sounds logical (referring to the above comment); and

> Wow! Never know Malaysia was a super power country. The world should be scared of the rise of Malaysia!

No News Is Bad News rests its case on Malaysia’s useless Education Ministry.
