Trump-driven WTF 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31, 2024: The above social media image asks: Should we be worried that 2025 begins with “WTF”?

With the “mentally-challenged” Donald Trump set to head and rule the so-called most powerful nation in the world, the rest of the world should definitely be worried.

The “America First” Trump clearly shows that he is bias against the rest of the world and that is bad news for international socio-economic development and progress.

Expect socio-economic upheavals as Trump plummets world trade and politics with unfair “tactics and policies”. Who can stop the "Find me the votes" and "I will rule as I please".

It shouldn’t surprise the rest of the what to expect morally from a man who has been sued for sexual harassment and found “guilty” but is elected to head the so-called war-loving US.

Whatever lies ahead for 2025 and beyond, let us all keep our fingers crossed, hope and pray that the rest of the world can withstand and triumph over the Trump-onslaught!

Have a Very Happy New Year! Forget the resolutions! They are never achievable!

Flying Malaysia and China’s flags for CNY! So what?

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 30, 2024: The above is the latest Chinese New Year (CNY) 2025 video clip uploaded in social media for multiracial Malaysians, especially ethnic Chinese.

It features the strong bond, ties and harmony between Malaysia and China nationals … and also flying China’s flag!

WTF now? More police reports to be lodged by fxxxxxg racial religious bigots led by the racist Umno and its youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh? Or even the Taliban-like PAS and the racist Perikatan Nasional-Bersatu led by the unpatriotic Muhyiddin “I Am Malay First” Yassin?

Here's an early Kong Hee Fatt Choy or Gong Xi Fa Cai greeting from us to Malaysians and Malaysia! ... and China too!!!

PKR, don’t you know Akmal is untouchable even by the law?

A senator has asked why Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has yet to be investigated for sedition after posting a picture of himself holding a sword on Facebook. Akmal had posted the picture, taken during a recent trip to Japan, on March 14. The picture was captioned: “No matter what, we will not waver from our stance. Better to die standing than live kneeling.”

Lawyer and social activist Siti Kasim said: "I recently saw a TikTok video where he (Akmal) was seen calling the Malays to be ready. He was seen sharpening a parang ... this is something the police must act on.

"It is like he is instigating the Malays to create problems. Islam never teaches us all this," said Siti.

PKR, don’t you know Akmal is untouchable even by the law?

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 30, 2024: Kelantan PKR Youth chief Ezzat Hanuzi has demanded that Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh apologise to the Kelantan Sultan for questioning Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s pardon.

Is Ezzat that naive? Does he or anyone believe the racial and religious bigoted Akmal will heed his demand to apologise?

To date, Akmal has ignored the 3R (Race, Religion, Royalty) and continues to spew racial and religious hatred to sow seeds of discord among multiracial-multi-reilgious Malaysians to shatter national unity.

At the height of the KK Mart and other religious issues, the police “reluctantly” hauled him up for questioning and that’s it.

Has anyone heard anything about the case from the police?

It is all a wayang kulit (shadow show) as the bigoted Akmal appears to be untouchable by the law.

So, Ezzat, why waste your time, energy and breath demanding an apology from Akmal? Instead, urge your leader (Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister) to act?

And why is the PMX even not acting or responding swiftly against the recalcitrant Akmal on the attack from Akmal?

Is it because Akmal represents the racial and religious bigoted Umno that fully supports Akmal's racial and religious bigotry?

Apologise to Kelantan sultan for questioning Anwar’s pardon, Akmal told

Kelantan PKR Youth says Dr Akmal Saleh should be more prudent in making statements and build people’s confidence in the legal system.

PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has been urged to apologise to Kelantan’s Sultan Muhammad V for questioning the royal pardon granted to PKR president Anwar Ibrahim in 2018.

Kelantan PKR Youth chief Ezzat Hanuzi said Akmal should apologise to the sultan, who was the king from 2016 to 2019, for questioning the pardon process when it had complied with legal procedures, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“As a politician, Akmal should be more responsible (in making public statements) and build the people’s confidence in the Malaysian legal system rather than tarnishing that trust,” said Ezzat.

He also urged the Umno Youth chief to show more respect and camaraderie for the allies in the unity government to preserve good ties among the parties.

Akmal’s query about Anwar’s pardon arose after the Attorney-General’s Chambers said all pardon applications for offences committed in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya must be submitted to the Federal Territories Pardons Board, which is chaired by the king.

Its statement was in response to speculation over a purported royal order allowing former prime minister Najib Razak to serve the remainder of his jail sentence under house arrest.

In response, Akmal questioned whether the royal pardon granted to Anwar in 2018 had gone through the pardons board.

Anwar received a full royal pardon a week after Pakatan Harapan won power in the 2018 general election. He was freed after serving three years of his five-year jail term for a sodomy conviction.

The PKR president later told Parliament that the royal pardon was granted at the initiative of the then king, Sultan Muhammad.

The Umno Youth chief’s query came after the Attorney-General’s Chambers said all pardon applications must be submitted to the pardons board.

PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has questioned whether PKR president Anwar Ibrahim’s royal pardon in 2018 had gone through the Federal Territories Pardons Board.

Akmal pointed out that when Anwar was pardoned and released from a five-year jail term for sodomy, no Cabinet had yet been formed by Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who became prime minister after Pakatan Harapan won power in the May 2018 elections.

“I would just like to ask the attorney-general this: when the prime minister (Anwar) was pardoned by the then king, was it brought to the pardons board?” he said in a Facebook post.

Anwar received a full royal pardon days after the May 2018 general election and was freed after serving three years in prison. He later told Parliament that the royal pardon was granted at the initiative of the then Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V.

 Dr Akmal Saleh.

Akmal’s query was made in response to a statement by the Attorney-General’s Chambers earlier today which said that all pardon applications for offences committed in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya must be submitted to the FTPB.

The AGC also said all proposals for prisoners in the federal territories to serve the remainder of their sentence under house arrest, including former prime minister Najib Razak, have to be submitted to the board.

It added that the king’s decisions on the advice of the board were subject to legal provisions to prevent such actions from being challenged in court.

In January last year, the Federal Court dismissed a lawyer’s attempt to challenge the legality of the 2018 royal pardon for Anwar. The court held that a decision made in an exercise of the royal prerogative of mercy could not be varied or confirmed by the court, and was not justiciable.

On Jan 6, the Court of Appeal will hear an application by Najib regarding his appeal to serve the remainder of his six-year jail term under house arrest. Najib claims that the provision was contained in a supplementary order to the pardons board decision on Feb 2 to halve his 12-year jail term in the SRC International case.

Najib had previously said the pardons board had omitted to announce the terms of the supplementary order and that the government was in contempt for not complying with it.

The FTPB is chaired by the king and includes the attorney-general, the federal territories minister and three others appointed by the king.

Anwar was a member of the board from November 2022 to December last year, when the federal territories came under the purview of the Prime Minister’s Department. In December, Dr Zaliha Mustafa joined the board after she was made federal territories minister..

Loyalty to Malaysia or Palestine? Bigots know not!

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29, 2024: The police and so-called Madani Unity Government (UG) are so glaring and shameless in their discriminatory policies, especially when it involves flying or holding foreign flags.

The racial and religious bigots led by the racist Umno are quick to jump and demand police action whenever they see China’s flag being displayed.

And the police and UG lose no time to launch investigations.

But this is not the case when Palestine flags are being waved or displayed in the country. No action whatsoever!

Even when it clearly shows lack of patriotism and loyalty to Malaysia and the Jalur Gemilang.

The case in point was when Malaysians flew the Palestine flag on last Merdeka Day when they should be flying only Malaysia’s flag.

Merdeka Malaysia or Palestine?

The racial and religious bigots now cannot tell the difference between whether they are Malaysians ot Palestine.

Now, even university graduates, their parents and staff are pro-Hamas (terrorist)-led bigots as seen in the above video clip.

Johor Umno stirs anti-China shit

These political parties and coalitions, dominated by racial and religious bigoted politicians, must be given the boot in the next general election in 2027.

Johor Umno stirs anti-China shit

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26, 2024: The racial and religious bigoted Umno leaders continue to stir anti-China sentiments for political mileage.

As if there are no more importans socio-economic challenges for them to tackle.

This time, a Johor assemblyman is demanding stern action against organisers of an LED lights carnival in Bukit Gambir, Tangkak, for allegedly displaying a replica of a rocket with Chinese flags on its fins.

This comes after a similar anti-China sentiment in October where a group of people were seen waving China’s national flag during a parade near the Leaning Tower in Teluk Intan in Perak.

In the same month, two images on social media showing students at a private secondary school in Penang holding the Chinese flag went viral.

It was later clarified that the students were part of a group of 33 from China studying at the Chun Ling Private Secondary School.

It is, sadly and unfortunate that come next general election in 2027, multiracial Malaysians who cherish and treasure peace and harmony, and national unity, must show their power by using their ballots to bthrow out Umno and all racial and religious bigoted politicians who threaten national unity.

PETALING JAYA: A Johor assemblyman is demanding stern action against organisers of an LED lights carnival in Bukit Gambir, Tangkak, for allegedly displaying a replica of a rocket with Chinese flags on its fins.

In a Facebook post, Sahrihan Jani demanded that the organisers be hauled to court if they were found to have violated guidelines set by the Tangkak district council and relevant authorities.

The Gambir assemblyman from Umno said, however, he had been informed the carnival would cease operation today.

He said an apology by the organisers would be insufficient to rectify the mistake, adding that Umno would not tolerate such matters and had since lodged a police report.

“Those intending to organise events in the future must be more mindful of local norms and culture and also avoid any form of provocation,” he said.

Tangkak police chief Roslan Talib confirmed receiving the report and said authorities were investigating the matter, Sinar Harian reported.

This is not the first time that controversy has been sparked by the inclusion of the Chinese flag in events.

In October, a group of people were seen waving China’s national flag during a parade near the Leaning Tower in Teluk Intan in Perak.

Guan Gong temple chairman Soon Boon Hua later apologised, saying the flags were displayed by Chinese nationals who attended the festival, and had not been planned by the organisers.

In the same month, two images on social media showing students at a private secondary school in Penang holding the Chinese flag went viral.

It was later clarified that the students were part of a group of 33 from China studying at the Chun Ling Private Secondary School.

When Malaysians are scared of flags …

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4, 2024: A few students from China waving flags of their country to welcome their own delegation in Teluk Intan was a big deal to some Malaysians.

But flying the Palestine flag during Merdeka (Independence) is even more serious.

We take pride in our Merdeka! Are such Malaysians loyal to Malaysia or Palestine?

A two-kilometre-long Malaysian flag weighing almost two tons was transported to China and rolled out along the Great Wall by Malaysian students in June 2000.

It was not a problem for the Chinese communist government.

So, what’s the big deal in Malaysia with waving flags to welcome a Chinese delegation?

The following are two comments found on social media:

> *Did You Know*

A 2km long Msian flag weighing almost 2 ton was transported to China n rolled out along the Great Wall by Msian students recently at an record event. No problem with the Chinese. They welcomed it. Never became an issue in China.

But the appearance of a few Chinese flag scared some Malays including highly educated politicians who made statements about China wanting to colonize msia!! Unbelievable such educated politicians can make such asinine statements.

> In June 2000, students from UKM unfurled a 2km long Jalur Gemilang Malaysian flag on the Great Wall in China. Not an issue then, so pass on to those who think it is an issue if China citizens wave their mini flags to welcome their own delegation in Teluk Intan

Tiong: Overreaction over Chinese flag incident may scare away tourists

By New Straits Times - October 27, 2024 @ 11:24pm

Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said the “overreaction” by some quarters over the waving of Chinese flags at an event in Teluk Intan, Perak recently could have a negative impact on tourism. - NSTP / FAIZ ANUAR

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said the "overreaction" by some quarters over the waving of Chinese flags at an event in Teluk Intan, Perak recently could have a negative impact on tourism.

Tiong, who is Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, said the overreaction by some quarters not only contradict Malaysia's values of moderation, but can also give the impression that Malaysia does not welcome foreign tourists to join cultural events.

"Before this, flags of other countries were flown in events organised in Malaysia without criticism. So why are the critics practising double standards in this case," he said in a Facebook post today.

He said the unity government consistently stresses the need to respect all cultures, with the aim of fostering unity and harmony among all Malaysians.

He claimed some individuals were taking advantage by worsening the situation.

The International Guan Gong Cultural Festival, he said, was an international cultural event which features participants from countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and China.

"The Chinese participants could have flown their flags as a sign of support and in the spirit of celebrating the event with those from other backgrounds, especially in view of the 50th anniversary of Malaysia - China ties," he said.

He said although the celebration is held in a similar fashion in neighbouring countries, they were not mired in controversy.

Tiong said he backed Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad's view that the act wasn't a crime.

"If those flying the flags weren't Malaysians, it shouldn't be a problem.

"The fear is that if we continue to harp on this, it could scare away tourists from visiting Malaysia, thus affecting the tourism industry," he said.

The minister took aim at Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh.

"He appears to be setting barriers and obstacles which could hamper the nation's development and growth. What are his true intentions?"

Akmal Saleh had previously called on the government to mete out stern action against the event organisers following te flying of the Chinese flags by some participants.

Akmal said he did not accept the organisers' apology and has asked Perak Umno Youth to lodge a police report.

The Guan Gong Cultural Association of Malaysia had previously apologised to all Malaysians for the incident involving the waving of China flags during the festival in Teluk Intan on Oct 24.

Its chairman, Soon Boon Hua, said that the act of waving the flag of another country was never planned in the existing programme itinerary prepared by the organisers.

from 17 Chinese nationals involved in the festival, held at Dataran Menara Condong.

Police said they were also working to identify other foreign flags displayed in the parade, noting that the viral video which sparked the incident also showed Thailand and Vietnam flags.

*The Two Faces Of Malay Morality In Malaysia*

An Opinion By

Professor Dr. Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi

In this Article I wish to explain something about the ' *Peculiar* ' Side of Malay Morality that must be Baffling Non-Malays as Citizens of this Country.

On the one hand, Malays seem so Devout with their Thousands of Expensive Mosques, Expensive Trips To Pilgrimages, Expensive Sacrifices Of Cows and Buffaloes, Being Careful Of Halal Or Permissible Food, Items And Incomes,

And yet, on the other hand the *Malays Seem To Support Corruption Of Civil Servants, Abuse Of Power By Top Malay Politicians, Murders Of Non-Malays And Even Of Malays, Kidnappings Of Innocent Citizens From Any Constitutional Crimes As Well As Vulgar Name Callings On Non-Muslims.*

How can 'Devout' Muslim Malays Praying Five Times A Day Allow massive corruption of power by their own kind amidst the Loud Speaking Muftis Crying Foul on Non-Muslims on issues of Khat or those who are accused of insulting the Prophet?

Stranger still is the Fact that it is the Devout who seem to Condone Corruption, Extremism and Suspected Misuse of Authority by such institutions as the Police, the MACC and the Municipal Officers, all being Malays who would have Probably Visited Mecca Several Times for the Holy Pilgrimage.

I will try to provide a look into the Muslim Malay idea of what they think Islam asks of them.

At the End of the 20th Century Malaysia was rocked by a Scandal so Heinous that the Ruling Umno Party almost Fell to its Knees in the 1999 General Election.

Tun Mahathir had Sacked his Deputy Anwar Ibrahim and let loose the Police and the Mainstream Media to Undress the man in the most Undignified Manner Completely Bereft of any Human Conscience, Islamic Morality Or Malay Courtesy.

The Malays reacted by taking the Moral High Ground and Rejected Umno in Droves at this Violation of both Islamic and Malay Morality.

The Barisan Nasional was Reinstalled to Power by the Non-Malay Voters who Disregarded this Blatant use of force as just another day in Malay Politics.

Tun Mahathir Sweetened the Non-Malay Voters by his turning the policy on the use of English for Science and Mathematics. Many Citizens Hailed this welcome an 'Progressive' effort by a Malay Leader, but actually it was just another day in Mahathirian Politics.

In the 1999 General Election, Umno almost lost it's shirt. They were saved by the 'Creative' Election Commission who 'Managed' the Election and the Non-Malay Voters who stood fast with Umno and the BN.

The Non-Malays were perhaps too concerned about their pockets and had no time for Moral Conscience.

I had supported the Parti Islam Se-Malaysia that carried the Reformasi Flag from Muddy Fields of Ceramah to Ceramah. ABIM and IKRAM were the Reformist Islam that had begun with the Rise of Anwar Ibrahim and had now stood on a Firm Ground in Malaysian Society, played a major role in fighting this injustice.

Most Malays who supported the Reformasi were both from the Educated and the Uneducated Classes.

The Malays who Supported Umno and its Immoral Practices had become a Minority.

The Majority of Malays Were Led By The Reformist Islam from ABIM and IKRAM (Then Known Under A Different Name).

The Malay Morality then was against Abuse of Power and Corruption and most importantly a Violation of Islamic Values of Human Dignity.

Such was the Power of Malay Morality that was Unanticipated by Tun M that he was removed from the Presidency of Umno.

Of course, History Officially Recorded the Famous Last Umno Assembly speech of 'Dah Lama Dah!' while bathed in tears with a Shoeless Rafidah Begging him to not retire.

So, Officially Tun M 'Retired' but in Reality, Umno Big Wigs said that the Election Loss was due to his Miscalculation of the way he handled the Anwar Affair and Malay Morality.

Such was the Strength of Malay Morality, it stayed strong from the 70-30 Pro-Reformasi to 55-45 Percent to give Anwar a Resounding Win against the Two Third Majority of BN in 2008.

In 2013, Anwar and the Opposition was Fully Supported by Non-Malays, The Civil Societies like Bersih and a Fairly Acceptable Malay strength of 45-55.

The Opposition was said to have actually won the election except for the 'Magic Hands' of the Election Commission in the *Black Out incidents* of many polling centers.

After that, the World Changed for Malaysians. Umno Began a Systematic Hijacking of the Malay Muslim agenda by *Creating* the *Chinese* and the *DAP* as the *Enemy* . Saving Islam from the DAP and the Rising Liberal Civil Society were now the standard mantra.

I have Recorded all the Racial and Religious Flash Points that was Blown Out of Proportion with Extreme Success by certain Malay NGOs like *PERKASA* and *ISMA.* The *'Kepala Lembu'* incident, the *Kepala Babi* in the surau issue, the *Bak Kut Teh* affair, the *Low Yat* racial attacks, the *Red Shirt* rally, the *Taman Austin* incident, the call to *Bible Burning* affair, the *Allah issue* and many many more became 'Controlled' Flashpoints.

*I say 'Controlled' because it was always done in a manner adequate enough to be blown up in the social media but not enough to cause actual fighting or riot. Very Well Controlled.*

But the more important question now is why did the Malays, From a High Moral Ground came down so much to now Support Politicians with Millions of Cash, Watches and Hand Bags as well as those who have Islamic Foundation, But has No Building on the Address?

The answer, to me, is the rise of the Cultural Muslim Malays In The Middle Class. These Malay Middle Class Educated in the West enjoying all the 'Sins' of a Western Lifestyle suddenly became Religious in their Fifties after Watching Friends Die of Heart Attacks Left and Right.

They Began to Learn to read the Qur'an and Pray Five Times A Day and Pay Tens of Thousands just to Complete the Pilgrimage. They were Hasting to be 'Good Muslims' before they Die.

*They Have No Time To Ponder Questions Of 'Modern Islam, Liberal Islam, Islam And Democracy Or Islam And Human Rights.*

*Their Ustaz Teachers, Who Are Educated Much Lower Than Them, Teaches These Middle Class Muslims To 'Stay Away From All That Is Un-Islamic' And You Will All Be In heaven.*

Stay Away from Alcohol Drinking Friends, Stay far away from Liberal Thinking Muslims, Don't Think and Just Listen to your Ustaz, and Stay Away from Non-Malays who are ALWAYS finding ways to Destroy Islam.

That is the teaching undergone by these middle class. At the universities, the same narrative is being taught by Ustaz with PhD and Masters, their message no different than those that studied only up to Pre-University Qualifications.

*Then Came Speakers Like Zakir Naik Who Says Such Things As It Is Ok To Support Corrupt Leaders As Long As They Are Muslims.*

The idea of a Perpetual 'War' with the Non-Muslims or Kafir is the Main Narrative that is Propagated by Schools, Madrasa, Mosques, Religious Lectures and Universities which Permeated every education aspect of Islam.

In Sabah, a Graduate Performed the Nazi Salute and Proclaimed his Support of Killing of Jews En Masse without any Shred of Mercy, Compassion or Rationale.

In Kajang, a Group of Graduate Muslims Threatened the Dong Zong over the Khat Issue.

In the National Mosque, an Umno Leader called for Jihad against Malaysian Citizens over a Single Issue of Insulting Islam.

In the East Coast, the Leader of an Islamic Political Party Declares Citizens of Malaysia as *'Musuh-Musuh Islam'* and are Unfit to be Elected to any kind of Leadership Position.

In the North, A Mufti Degraded the Hindu People with his Kindergarten Understanding of the Religion.

The Malay Middle Class are Fed with this Narrative and this Rolling Dtone has turned into a Boulder that cannot be stopped unless drastic actions can be taken.

Before COVID-19, I told myself that Malaysia Can Never Be Saved because the Damage was now in the Fourth Stage Terminal Level.

*But I Saw That Malays Can Change Over Three Months Of The MCO. Surprisingly The Malays Meekly Accepted The No-Friday Prayers Order, The No-Congregation Order, The No-Raya Order, The No-Pilgrimage Order And Even The No-Communal Burial Order! Incredible!*

The Malays can actually be Retrained…if that was wanted. But the Universities have been Compromised, AMANAH is still Sleeping and *Anwar* is still Playing the PM *Tug-Of-War Games* while Malaysia Burns with *Racial and Religious Hatred And Corruption That Is Accepted And Appreciated As The Five Daily Prayers.*

I see Absolutely No Hope for Malaysia with the Malays Deeply Entrenched in these False Narratives of Islam. With AMANAH, ABIM, IKRAM and Anwar Playing Malay and 'Fundamental Islamic' Politics, there is 'Probably' nothing much that Malays who Believe in the Fairness of the Constitution and the Dignity of all Citizens can do to change the General Narrative.

*Short Of An Economic Catastrophe To Wake The Malays From Their Religious And Moral Delusions, I Would Not Put Money On The Future Of Malaysia.*

(Professor Dr. Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi Is Professor At A Local University).
