Queen: Muslims must show respect to fellow Malaysians of not the same faith
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13, 2024: Malaysia’s Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen) Raja Zarith Sofiah had on April 21, 2017 come out strong to hit out at racial and religious bigots in the country.
However, her words of wisdom have been ignored by racial and religious bigots in Malaysia, the likes of Umno youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh, the Taliban-like PAS leaders and Muslims.
Last week, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar sent subtle but strong messages on racial and religious tolerance, and the need to uphold national unity.
His Majesty did just that by taking Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim by surprise - having him dine in a popular Chinese restaurant in Johor Baru.
No News Is Bad News believes the Royal Couple must be worried about foreign investor confidence, decision-making and sentiments being adversely affected by the anti-national unity rhetoric of racial and religious bigots,.
The King and Queen have been going on official visits to various countries to help attract new investors to Malaysia and they had just returned from China.
Johor is today extremely developed, mainly due to foreign investors, especially those from China.
The sentiments of foreign investors must be worrying the King and Queen, to say the least.
To multiracial Malaysians who treasure peace and national unity, and especially the racial and religious bigots, read and heed the Queen’s message in the above image found circulated in social media again.
The image had the following comment:
Our YDPA n Queen did a fantastic act to shut the mouth of fanatics who will not dare to utter halal cert attendance or others by a simple visit to a Chinese outlet to eat curry fish head wt Jakim Head PMX. Even AI mulut got stuck n now the Queen spoke out on fairness. Long live Daulat Tuanku n Queen. No other ex has done that. Syabas.
Yes! Daulat Tuanku! Daulat Tuanku! Daulat Tuanku! The King for all Malaysians, irrespective of race or creed or religion.
