KUALA LUMPUR, June 30, 2023: Anwar Ibrahim is repeating his speeches that the corrupt are conspiring/ganging up on him.
“Wealthy people who have plundered billions of Ringgit from the country are conspiring against him as he intensified his battle against corruption.
“Times are tough and we need to rid our country of corruption,” he said, adding that he had also received all sorts of threats.
Law-abiding Malaysians loyal to the country understand what you are saying as it is all common knowledge.
And, they will continue to support you and your Unity Government in the fight against corruption and to heal the economy whioch is saddled witha more than RM1.5 trillion national debt - no thanks to previous governments of the day and their leaders.
But, why continue to lament and lament. You are now the prime minister and you have access to all the information that you want from any department.
So, what are you doing about it? What are the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) doing about it?
Police and MACC seem to be dragging their feet on their probe, if any, on the “super rich” and politicians they support.
If the police and MACC are incompetent, then replace the incompetent officer/s.
The longer the police and MACC are allowed to appear to “do nothing”, the more the rakyat (people) will lose their confidence in the UG leaders.
Seven months as the 10th prime minister is enough for you to determine whether the police and MACC administrations are competent or not.
In short, Anwar, it is time to kick butts.

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim claims “wealthy people” who have plundered billions of ringgit from the country are conspiring against him as he intensifies his battle against corruption.
“Times are tough and we need to rid our country of corruption,” he said in a speech at the Guar Perahu Mosque here.
“I have received all sorts of threats. These rich people who have stolen billions (of ringgit) are now ganging up (on me). (But) I will carry on fighting (corruption).”
On the various claims that have been made about his administration, he called on the public to understand the difference between slander and political attacks.
He said among the false allegations he has faced include Islam being affected under his administration, the lack of foreign direct investments, and that the government signed off the country’s interest in a resource-rich maritime area in the Sulawesi Sea known as Ambalat.
“There are all sorts of slanders being spewed. The people can listen to them, but they must analyse them fairly,” Anwar said.
“I may have my weaknesses, but (people) should not resort to slander.”
Anwar also said he is willing to cooperate, even to be investigated by relevant authorities if he is suspected to be involved in corruption.
He said after seven months of holding the highest office in the country, no special privileges were given to his family.
“If I’m suspected of being involved in corruption, amassing money to enrich Dr Wan Azizah (Wan Ismail), Nurul Izzah and my other children, report it (to the authorities),” he was quoted as saying by Bernama.

Anwar: Corrupt forces ganging up
Warns Malaysia will ‘not survive’ if it does not change
KUALA LUMPUR, June 19, 2023: Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister (PM) Anwar Ibrahim says corruption is endemic in the country.
Does Malaysian disagrees with him?
And he lamented that the most corrupt forces (that includes individuals) were “ganging up” (against him and the country?).
No News Is Bad News believes that he is the first Malaysian PM to admit publicly that “corruption is endemic”.
In doing so, Anwar is putting his premiership at risk against the corrupt who undoubtedly are filthy rich and, therefore, wield significant political influence.
The corrupt will no doubt work behind the scene and “finance” their agenda to topple Anwar and his Unity Government to save themselves from prosecution.
Really, has any premier in the past put themselves in such a position as Anwar?
However, No News Is Bad News believes the majority of law-abiding Malaysians are wise to make the right choice to support such a humongous task of reforming the country’s governance with the aim of fighting corruption.
Malaysia’s parliamentary democracy is such that the Government of the day gets to rule for a five-year term, if not toppled, before it seeks the the mandatory renewal mandate to govern.
The power, is thus, the rakyat (people) who decides who they want as their leader through the ballots.
And Anwar warns that Malaysia will “not survive” if it does not change.
