Beijing court orders MAS to pay US$410,000 (RM1.68m) each to families of eight missing passengers

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 16, 2025: A Beijing court has ordered Malaysia Airlines to pay more than 2.9 million yuan (US$410,240) or RM1.68 million per case in compensation to families of eight missing passengers from flight MH370, state broadcaster CCTV reported.

Why is MAS as quiet as a church mouse and refused to respond to media for comment?

MAS does not want to pay?

Does it want to risk having all its flights to China banned in retaliation?
