Lawyer and social activist Siti Kasim said: "I recently saw a TikTok video where he (Akmal) was seen calling the Malays to be ready. He was seen sharpening a parang ... this is something the police must act on.
"It is like he is instigating the Malays to create problems. Islam never teaches us all this," said Siti.
A senator has asked why Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has yet to be investigated for sedition after posting a picture of himself holding a sword on Facebook. Akmal had posted the picture, taken during a recent trip to Japan, on March 14. The picture was captioned: “No matter what, we will not waver from our stance. Better to die standing than live kneeling.”
Use KKB by-election to protest the ineffective actions against racial and religious bigots
KUALA LUMPUR, April 29, 2024: Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) has launched a six-point manifesto for Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB).
Whatever, the May 11 KKB by-election is an opportunity for Malaysians, especially KKB voters, to teach Pakatan Harapan-DAP a lesson that it cannot take supporters for granted.
Whether PH-DAP wins or loses, it make no difference to the power equation in the Selangor State Assembly.
But if PH-DAP loses, that would be a strong message to PH to buck up if it hopes to win big in the next general election that is due in 2027.
Voters, rise and help save multi-racial Malaysia by sending a strong message that its mediocre governance is unacceptable, especially in its dealings with racial and religious bigots, like the racist and antiunity-anti-national Umno youth chief Dr Akmal “KK Mart” Saleh.
Vote for anything but PH, the Taliban-like PAS, ther racist Perikatan Nasional (PN) led by the unpatriotic Muhyiddin “I Am Maly First” Yassin and Barisan Nasional (BN)-Umno.
If the winner does not perform, then come 2027, give him/her the boot.

HULU SELANGOR: Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) launched its Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) by-election manifesto containing six offers.
The six offers include establishing a herbal plant technology hub, encouraging KKB citizens to be involved in eco-tourism economic activities, and ensuring the infrastructure of public facilities, government buildings, police stations, and drainage systems is in good and safe condition.
The manifesto also proposes increasing welfare allocations to families of low-grade civil servants, women, the elderly, people with disabilities, and children.
PRM candidate Hafizah Zainuddin, when contacted by Bernama, said the by-election manifesto was launched at the 53rd PRM National Congress held at the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) on Sunday (April 28).
The KKB by-election campaign, which entered its second day today, saw a four-cornered battle involving former press secretary to the Minister of Housing and Local Government Pang Sock Tao (Pakatan Harapan), acting head of Hulu Selangor Bersatu Khairul Azhari Saut (Perikatan Nasional), Hafizah and Nyau Ke Xin (Independent).
It was held following its incumbent, Lee Kee Hiong, 58, who passed away due to cancer on March 21.
