Peace and harmony in multi-racial religious Malaysia …

Peace and harmony in multi-racial religious Malaysia …

The religious and racial politics and policies propagated by the Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) federal government has taken a toll on multi-racial religious Malaysia.

Already, terrorist militants like Islamic State (IS) has arrived to strike Malaysia or perhaps have already struck with a bombing at a nightspot in Puchong, Selangor, recently.

It is extremely sad to all peace-loving Malaysians that they have to endure all the religious and racist remarks spewed by individual racist and religious bigots or bodies who all seem to be given much leeway by the authorities.

Malaysia today is no more seen as a moderate nation of multi-race living peacefully and in harmony as 25 years ago. Daily, we read in the media the hatred spread and propagated by racial and religious bigots.

However, there might be light at the end of the tunnelwith at least one Malay royal - the Johor Prince or fondly know as TMJ - voicing much displeasure over the state of governance today.

The TMJ has even challenged the authorities to jail him as he reiterated that he will not stop his criticisms over the state of deteriorating Malaysian government affairs.

With the the threat of IS arriving and becoming real in once peaceful and harmonious Malaysia, there is no other way for the country to progress than to rein in on mixing selfish politics with race and religion.

Get rid of the racial and religious venom and there is no reason why Malaysians cannot continue to support BN.

That might be easier said than done. The Umno-led BN must muster the courage to cast aside race and religious politics to continue to rule peacefully and progressively for all Malaysians and country.

Alas, for selfish political reasons, BN will not muster the will needed for change … perhaps because of the popular belief that a leopard never changes its spots.

Attached above is a video clip of what the Johor Prince had to say in an interview on television.

God Save Malaysia!
