Who are the morons? Americans or Malaysians?
The American Department of Justice (DoJ) has announced legal proceedings against individuals who allegedly stole billions of ringgit from a so called Malaysian sovereign fund - 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
The details of the DoJ action are uploaded in a video attached to this article for your understanding and convenience of the world’s alleged largest theft of public funds to date.
Some of those funds have allegedly found its way into the account belonging to Malaysian Official No.1 (MO1), as what the DoJ chose to call him.
Naturally, many have concluded and believe that MO1 is Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak. After all, he claimed millions or billions of ringgit that were deposited into his account were donations from an Arab.
Najib had also claimed that the Arab donor gave the funds to Malaysia for its commitment to fight terrorism, especially IS (Islamic militants). The donations were also used to help fund his Barisan Nasional (BN) government election campaign to retain its stranglehold on power at the 13th General Election (GE13).
The above raises simple questions, yet no media bothered or cared to pose the questions. Why?
The questions are:
1. Why is the DoJ such a busy body? Have the Americans gone moronic with nothing else better to do?

2. Najib has admitted funds from his account have been used for GE13 campaigning? What then is the Election Commission (EC) doing about it? Are Malaysians stupid?
3. Billions of ringgit have gone into the personal account of the PM? Nothing for the authorities to investigate about? Are Malaysians as moronic as the Americans?
4. DoJ is probing the alleged theft of funds, in the billions of ringgit, from 1MDB. No authority in Malaysia is interested in investigating the alleged theft? Are Malaysians plain moronic?
5. Najib, being the man in control of 1MDB, shows little interest in wanting to know whether the DoJ’s allegations of theft from 1MDB have any truth? Are Malaysians stupid?
6. Why is it so easy for the named four individuals to allegedly siphon money from 1MDB? Of course they must have access or inside help to help themselves to the billions of ringgit but has anyone in 1MDB been hauled up? Are Malaysians just plain stupid and do not understand what siphoning of funds and money laundering are about? and
7. The alleged money laundering activities involving 1MDB funds via an international network of financial institutions are now being probed by some 10 countries. Surely there must be some basis of evidence for the probes. Or is it a conspiracy against Najib or Malaysia? Or are Malaysians just plain ignorant?
The questions are simple but yet the answers and response are still wanting.
