Thousands of corrupt politicians, civil servants would have been executed under China’s standard of zero-tolerance for corruption
KUALA LUMPUR, March 3, 2025: Hundreds, if not thousands of corrupt Malaysians, especially politicians and civil servants would have been executed if Malaysia followed China’s zero-tolerance on corruption.
And that is one of the main reasons why China is today so much more advanced and socio-economically successful than Malaysia.
It was only several decades ago when China was a poverty-stricken nation with its nationals struggling, if not starving, to put food on the table daily for their loved ones.
Malaysia was then a more advanced and developed country than China.
Look at the difference between China and Malaysia today!
Even a province like Chongjing, with a population of about 33 million, is even more developed and advanced than Malaysia.
Corruption hinders the growth and development of nation but Malaysians, like the corrupt Umno, even idolises or hero-worships corrupt leaders who steal from the rakyat dan negara (people and country).
